    It is a great place to go to relax and escape the hectic life. Rooms and pool are very clean, the staff very helpful. The location is only 5 min away by car from the catamaran or 25 min walking on the magnificent sandy beach shore. I really recommend this hotel which is very well priced as well.

    Basic Clean Hotel Close to Beach and Main Town Amenities

    Basic Hotel. Very clean and easy to find - on the main seaside road. Within walking distance of the main square which was quite colourful and lively in the evening. Beautiful beach nearby (walkable). Restaurants were close. The room was basic. Small fridge, no coffee/tea in room, but they offer a VERY BASIC breakfast (cold cereal, toast). The hostess made individual coffees. Bed was hard and not comfortable. No extra quilts, etc. TV was the size of an ipad. Air conditioner worked well and was quiet. (Didn’t work at first, but discovered it was out of batteries). The bathroom was “tight” with no real space to put out one’s overnight kit. Shower was weak. No noise at night (except for the mating cats!) Pool was nice, but not heated. We were there in May so the water was cold (understandable). A few lounge chairs; we were the only people there so it wasn’t an issue. Check in was easy. We didn’t understand that the doors would be locked when we arrived back around 9:30 pm after dinner. No one at front desk at night. Our room key didn’t open the main door. What to do? My husband climbed over the tall fence and then discovered that there was a sliding gate on the side of the property. Ugh. Cost around $170 Canadian dollars; a lot for a basic room, but the cost reflected the location close to the beach (which we didn’t use), pool and proximity to the restaurants and town central square.

    Pretty facade, terrible building, no heat insulation, rooms get extremely hot, next to Beach club, extensive noise until the early morning hours, no access to beach, horrendous prices, four people are squeezed into minuscule room, pets are allowed, children are refused. low quality sugar rich breakfast.

    The worst Hotel ever.

    We chose this hotel because the description said free parking , and parking in the Marina is difficult, and garden view. Well the parking turned out to be just in the street and the garden view was a wall and the passage to the swimming pool and other rooms.Although the hotel is near the beach there is no access to the beach.The worst part though was the noise, on one side there is an amusement park which makes a racket until midnight and the other side a yoga club which also plays loud music at night.The walls are paper thin and we could hear conversations next door. We had too loud Italian ladies on one side and a crying baby on the other side. Never slept worse than the 5 nights at Aria di Mare. The room was tiny and so was the bathroom. The bed was unusually short and we are average size but our feet were sticking out. The room felt as if it had not been decorated or fully furnished. The airconditioning was inefficient and sometimes appeared to be heating , it also rattled.
