Location

This hotel is located in the tourist centre in the Gulf of Taormina. The nearest beach is 150 m away and Taormina's old town is approximately 2 km from the hotel. There are many shopping venues as well as countless restaurants and bars to be found in the near vicinity whilst links to the public transport network can easily be reached on foot.

Facility

The hotel has 36 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, a safe, a TV room, room service, a laundry service, a fax machine and a smoke alarm are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     Not a four star hotel

    This is definitely not a four star hotel. Not even close. Rooms are small and in bad need of an update. Bathroom is a joke. Good luck getting into the shower if you are a bigger person. I’m 6 ft 200 lbs and barely fit in. Location is out of the way. No restaurants nearby. Staff however were very friendly and helpful but I would never recommend this hotel. Better stay right in Taormina.

    Our stay in Taormina was exceptional, and this hotel truly made it even better. From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were always polite and ready to help with anything we needed. The rooms were spotless and beautifully maintained.

    Really good hotel and staff - slightly let down by the bus service

    Lovely hotel, lovely staff, amazing breakfast view of the sea. Swimming pool is great.Only reason it's not a 5 star review is the unreliable bus service back from Taormina. The bus takes 5 mins to get to Taormina centre and the bus stop is just outside - so all good. However twice in 2 nights we had to use taxis (£20) rather than the bus as they were so unreliable (too full/ didn't turn up). There is a walk from the Hotel to the centre however you need to be fit and it's not advisable if you're in heels or dressed up.

    Excellent stay at this hotel! I stayed there with my cousin and we had a great time. Ive seen people comment that there are old furnitures and poor options at the breakfast. About the furnitures it serves its purpose. The bed is a bit hard and my back hurt a little after some nights, but my cousin didnt feel this at all. The breakfast has a lot of options. It depens from which country youre from. Like americans i bet need a lot of options, and others doesnt have that brekfast culture. It has bacon, scrambled eggs, hardboiled egg, sausages, fruit, vegetables, yoghurr, juices, great coffee, and a lot of sweet bakery. We loved it and had breakfast there every morning. The pool is deep, like all pools in taormina. I tried 4 different pools and they were all deep. Not for children to bee in alone. The hotel is not at taormina centrum. You have to walk like 15 minutes to get there. Which is not much, but its uphill. Its totally managable, but you will be sweaty at the end. There are buses that goes from the train station just 5 min walking from the hotel. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel, but the people working there recommended us to not wait there because the buses doesnt allways stop. But we tried it some days later and they stopped every time. The bus goes straight up to the city centre. It cost 1,10 euro for a ticket and you can pay cash or card on the bus. Taxi costs like 20-25 euros dependig on time of the day. The service at the hotel is excellent. So nice staff that helps you with anything. They can recommend restaurants and places to visit. There is a bar with affordable prices. We got a bottle of wine for 20 euros. The night staff makes really good drinks👍🏻There is a beach in front of the hotel. You can visit it for free, but i recommend to rent a sunbed at lorenzina beach club thats on the same spot. It cost 25 euros for one sunbed, but you can have it all day if you want. Lorenzina also have a restaurant where you can eat if you dont feel like going up to the city centre. All i all a great hotel to stay in and we really recommend it. Just maybe not if you have children.

    A soulful stay – perfect for solo travellers ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️From start to finish, I felt so looked after. Marco at reception welcomed me with genuine warmth, helped me navigate public transport, shared great tips on exploring Taormina, and made sure I always had what I needed.The location was brilliant for me—away from the tourist noise of the town centre, yet so well connected by transport that I could easily venture beyond Taormina (which I did!).Breakfast was amazing: a generous variety that was constantly replenished—eggs, pastries, fruit, meats, yoghurt, juices, and all kinds of coffee. The breakfast team were absolutely incredible—especially Roxana. She truly looked after everyone with the most beautiful smile. She surpassed all customer care I’ve ever experienced on my travels.The housekeepers were just as thoughtful—always ensuring I was topped up and comfortable. Every single staff member greeted me with genuine kindness and care. I felt deeply calm, grounded, and at ease throughout my stay.The air con was perfectly cool, the views from the windows were breathtaking, and the pool area was peaceful and serene. The walk to Taormina town is a short, scenic hike with stunning views, and there’s a quiet beach right outside the hotel. Bedding and hygiene were spotless.And Pedro—the true STAR of the hotel! He’ll chew your hair and lose his breath from excitement when he sees you. Just saying hello to him will brighten your whole day. Special thanks to the lovely lady on reception who even kept me updated on Pedro’s arrival times 😂There’s no on-site restaurant, but they kindly ordered food in for me—it arrived in just 10 minutes and was delicious.I wholeheartedly recommend this place, especially for solo travellers. I felt safe, cared for, and truly at peace. Even as I left, Marco met me with the same warmth and hospitality I arrived to. Until my return—thank you, Hotel Corallo! ✨🥰
