  Definitely recommend for those keen to explore on a limited budget!

  This lovely typical budget hotel was perfect for a short break to explore Palermo for the first time. So close, 10 minute walk, to the train station with direct access to and from the airport so no need for the cost of a transfer. The hotel staff are warm, welcoming and helpful and all speak English. Breakfast is an extensive continental breakfast with a full range of local pastries, fruit, juice, meats and cheeses. The coffee is exceptionally good for a hotel, The key tourist areas are within a fifteen minute walk from the hotel but if you like want to get a real feel for the city just a couple of steps off the Via Roma you will find lively bars, cheap authentic restaurants and interesting architecture and street art. At no point did we feel unsafe or threatened.

  Although the Hotel location was good for us ,a short walk to everything .Room had the most smallest shower cubicle we had ever experienced, with the added mould around the shower tray and on cubicle doors. Was a complete No No.Mentioned at reception re: mould, genuinely seemed embarrassed, but nothing was done to remove it. I bought some mould spray , did the Job myself .Not what you need to do on holiday. 3 star. But still expect a good hygienic level .

  You get what you pay for sums it up . Location wise is really good, very central and short walk to the famous outdoor market , street food area. Very close to the main station and all the shops and loads of amazing churches. Staff are very friendly and rooms are very clean , breakfast is amazing. Bad points which the first one is really irritating tbh ….. you don’t have the air con main switch in the bedroom so you always have to ask or ring for reception to turn it on or off which is annoying if you are too hot in the middle of the night or if you want it off as the room gets colder . You always have to hand the keys in . No little fridge or safe in rooms , which I think is a must even if you aren’t staying in a 5 star hotel , I mean how expensive is a small fridge?? Not much at all. The bathroom needs an update , and for you ladies the hairdryer is something from the 18th century . But all in all , it is a nice place , just needs updating.

  This hotel offers an ideal location near the bus and train stations, with a large supermarket just steps away and easy access to Palermo’s main attractions on foot. Our spacious, clean room captured the charm of southern Italy, while the exceptionally helpful, friendly, and efficient staff truly enhanced the stay. A great choice for a few days in Palermo.

  I took the bus from airport to the hotel as I did not have a transfer this was straightforward. I was thankful my room was ready by 12pmMy room basic but functional . No fridge,kettle or safeThere was only 1 power outlet, a rip in curtain, hair in glass in bathroom. I feel it could be cleaned to a better standard. Staff come daily to clean room whether you want them to or notAir con controlled by reception staff. I didn't like having to give my key to receptiom staff every time I left the hotel and having to knock to be let back in, this was a major inconvenienceNo ambience in this hotel. Staff generally helpfulBreakfast very basic, no cooked food but you wont starve.The location of the hotel was great. I was able to walk most places. I used the hotel as a base and I enjoyed the various excursions i went on inc mount etna, valley of temples and Cefalu etc. Please manage your expectations when staying here.Overall it was adequate for a few days but i would not return.
