    Pros: the staff here are lovely and the hotel is central. The stunning Villa Comunale gardens are 2 mins away. Breakfast is varied enough, with boiled eggs and several savouries, plus pastries and really good coffee. The breakfast ladies are so nice and they do ask you if you want your room to be cleaned that day, so it’s up to you. The terrace overlooking the majestic Etna is beautiful, shame we haven’t used it that much.Cons: our room was claustrophobic. No way that was a triple room, there was no space for our stuff and only two hangers. My in-laws had a much larger room, which made no sense! Sleep was bad, pillows too big and hard, but that’s my fault, as I should have asked for a replacement. At night it was stuffy, and if you wanted to open the balcony to let some fresh air in, the bin collection would wake you up at 4:40 every day. A real shame about our “family” room, as otherwise I would have loved this hotel, due to the staff.

    Great hotel - perfect location to see Taormina. Amazing view of the harbour and Etna. Breakfast ok - the bedroom we had was fabulous

    I just ordered 2 rooms on aprile a double for me and my fiance and a triple for my parents and my brother.When I just arrived at the hotel on july 11 I just discovered that the room was only one with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, so me and my fiance was supposed to share the bathroom with my parents, the thing is that I ordered 2 separate rooms and the receptionist just told me they thought we were a family so that wasn’t a problem.How in the world an hotel can make such a mistake and make fun of their customers!?I’m embarrassed about this situation as they still won’t give the money back so I can go on a different hotel.JUST RIDICULOUS!

    Worst hotel i ever stayed in. We were 3 people and they shoved us in the smallest room. They put a 3rd bed under the tv. The room was so small we couldn’t put all our clothes away. So the room was a mess. The cleaning lady never cleaned. Even got a paper that said she could t clean because all the mess… well yeah… 3 women with loads of clothes and no space… the bathroom was disgusting. The AC was leaking water on my bed. Thank god i took my own sheets with me!! My 2 travel companions legs were red and bitten by bedbugs. The breakfast was a joke. The staff looked depressed. We went to reception after 1h of arriving and asked another room but not possible. Breakfast is the everyday the same =not fresh

    Disappointing!! It is a very basic B&B that needs a good clean and has none of the listed facilities!! There is no restaurant, there is no coffee shop, there is no pool.Only the photos from the roof terrace are genuine. The tables on the roof terrace were all rusted. Photos on Booking.com are false not even the hotel facade is the same and the breakfast is from someone's imagination!!There are no brightly colored table clothes or juice in jugs. It's out of a dispensing machine, choose your glass carefully as they again need a good wash and scrub.The bathroom needs an upgrade and a good clean with a steamer to get rid of the black mould around the sink and shower!!Finding previous occupants cookie wrappers in the bedside table is not appreciated!!
