    This hotel is very old and dingy and not very clean. The towels are terrible and the room was very dark and depressing. I would not recommend staying here. We found a lovely hotel around the corner and down the street. We are much happier!

    Hotel location is excellent, rooms are spacious and clean. If you’re looking for air conditioning- this hotel doesn’t have. Non of the units in the room work to cool off the room. The staff will ignore your concerns and yes you to death that they are looking into it. If your coming fromAmerica and are use to American AC don’t stay here.

    Rating: 7/10The location is excellent — right in the heart of Palermo, close to everything. The reception staff were polite, and the room was clean and big with great bed and bath! However, the area is extremely noisy, even during the night, so if you’re sensitive to noise or looking for a peaceful rest, this might not be the best choice.Another issue was the housekeeping staff — they started dragging furniture and making loud noises from 7 a.m., which made it impossible to sleep in. This is highly unprofessional, especially in a hotel that claims to be 4 stars. The other day i complained in the reception and there was some improvement.Also, there was no coffee in the room, not even instant, which is surprising and disappointing at this level.For a short stay it’s manageable, but I wouldn’t choose this hotel again.

    The staff at the hotel went beyond the call of duty to be incredibly helpful. A medical emergency required urgent hospitalisation and surgery. We had to stay back at the hotel for an extra week after discharge from hospital. We received first class care and consideration from staff at reception (Virginia, Sofia, Michele and Loreto, and others) catering (Vincinzo, Letitia) and a wonderful cleaner (Maria)
