    Peaceful clean relaxing paradise beach getaway

    Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay with a gorgeous Seaview. Your staff was always kind and helpful, the garden grounds are immaculate, the room well designed and very clean, the atmosphere was calming, the food was always delicious, and the pool and beach were absolutely perfect. You can tell that lots of effort, thought and love is put into Villaggio il Gabbiano ❤️

    Average Hotel, with a bad restaurant

    Me and my family stayed almost a week here. The hotel itself was a typical 3 star hotel, which is great. The rooms were clean, and the beach is right in front of it, and that’s all I can say about the good things. The breakfast is out of question...everyday the same and mostly cakes, the tables are dirty, one day the juice was rotten...so it was awful. As for the pool, I was pretty pissed, because it’s only open about 7 hours a day and you have to wear swimming cap. Talking about the beach the safety is weird, I mean If the sea is a little bit wavy, swimming is prohibited even if you want to swim at your own risk, so you have to walk away from the hotels beach at these time to do whatever you want...but if the weather is not windy the lifeguard is sitting back to the sea.After all if you still think it’s worth for a sea view room, you are wrong. Do not choose it if you want to rest, because the music is so loud till midnight, that you have no chance to sleep.And what was really funny is that besides the receptionist, who can barely speak English, no one can at the hotel, not even at the Gelateria or the animators.

    We had been here seventeen years ago and returned 2 weeks ago — still comfortable and welcoming. Many people find this spot by accident but since we have family in the area, we have been aware of this hotel for a long time. The rooms are comfy, the food so delicious and the beach great. If you are driving between Messina and Palermo and are looking for a relaxing spot off the beaten track, this is for you. Have a granita in the bar for me, Yum!

    We stayed in the hotel for 2 night. Nice room with air conditioning. Lovely private beach,the food was very nice plenty of fresh fish. The only thing was the music.. the entertainment was on at night and it was a little loud but finished at midnight.. but the Italians loved it.. I would recommend to go on low season to miss it

    Dropped in purely by chance looking for lunch - hotel has basically closed for the season but was warmly welcomed and an excellent seafood lunch provided - to the background of a deserted beach! Deserves more business - visit!
