    The best was the terrace.

    It was an ok experience. The hotel was somewhat decadent, there were many things that needed fixing, a coat of paint, a general clean and it would improve it. Overall i suupose it was better than some, since the city is quite filthy and smelly. It is in the centre of everything, close to supermarkets, shops, buses, etc.

    The hotel is located on a quiet square, very close to the tourist attractions.The hotel is clean and decorated in an Italian style. The room (202) had a wonderful view of the square, which we were very grateful for🙏🙏. The only drawback was the very small size of the bathroom. We did not like the breakfast too and will not take it next time.We will be back. Sure!!

    I really don't know where some of the people writing reviews stayed - this is not the experience we had April 25. We stayed here for a week and had room 113. Yes the lift is small, ALL European lifts are small, take the stairs - it is only a 4 storey hotel.The staff were all lovely, everyone of them. The desk clerks in particular were very helpful and even opened the bar for us one night upon our late return from eating out.The rooms were large with traditional furniture, the bed was comfortable and king sized, we slept well every night. The TV in this room is a 28" flat screen and had only a few English speaking channels - who goes to Italy and watched TV in the bedroom? Palermo is a vibrant city that comes alive after dark. Eating out before 9 pm is almost a criminal offence. The bathroom although small was perfectly usable and as a 5" 11" 220 lb man I had no problems with either the shower or the WC. The shower was excellent, roasting hot and superb water pressure.The room was cleaned every day, bed made and fresh towels provided.We only had breakfast once in the hotel dining room. It is a continental affair with meats, cheeses and pastries, whats to complain about?As for the noise? The hotel is adjacent to a piazza with very little traffic. That said - it is Palermo, cities by their very nature are busy with more noise than your average village. Police and Ambulance sirens can be heard but not bad enough our sleep was disturbed.There are many, many very good restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Tondo across the road was pretty good and offers a 20% discount if you book online using the FORK app found on app stores. La Brace was the best we found, superb menu, very reasonable and excellent service.

    Lovely looking hotel on the outside! Inside not so much. See photos. Toilet available if you climb over the bidet. Shower so antique that I’ve had better showers in the rain. Tv is a portable size, 20 inch at best. Decor dated. Lift to levels so small that you can just fit one person and luggage.View beautiful. Ear plugs required as walls are thin. Safe available but you don’t know that until you get to the room to know you have to pay a deposit which means going back in that little lift.Car parking. According to booking. Com there is private parking and valet. There ain’t ( only reason we booked is because we had a car) reception didn’t have an interest and sent us 2 blocks away to a garage..Breakfast €30 each for some cold meats, machine coffee and pastries.Old town easy to get to so location is great.

    This charming little htl with painted ceilings and chandeliers and wonderful, helpful staff.Walking distance to everything and surrounded by cafes and Trattoria.Immaculately clean, well appointed rooms.Highly recommended to anyone looking for that old work charm presented with all modern facilities
