I have never written a review before but beware.This is an overpriced dump.Very dirty armchair in our room. The manager said he knew and just shrugged. You have to walk to reception to get WiFi!Beware!You have been warned!

Beautiful location and view. Staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. Gorgeous pool area and easy access to a near beach. Nice and quiet getaway.

What a nice hotel on this very special island. Fantastic rooms (ours had a little balcony to read a book) and a swimming pool with a bar. Run by extremely nice and helpful people.Couldn't have had a nicer stay.It might be a bit further from the port but in return it's very quiet.

We stayed one night at hotel La Sciara in June. The accommodation was about one kilometer away to the west-northwest of the port of San Vincenzo and was easily accessible by taxi, but also on foot. It was pleasantly quiet there. The room was fairly clean and was quiet. The view from the pool was unsurpassed with a beautiful view of the smoking Stromboli volcano. The pool was lovely and clean with a terrace around it with sun loungers. The breakfast buffet was very tasty. The staff were very friendly.

The most amazing "Perch"!

Our experience at La Sciara was an over the top expectation exceeded. The highlights were definitely focused around the private terrace with a private, stylish, creative cocktail bar. The sunset view from the terrace high above the sea exceeded all expectations, but the added delight of the new? sauna, steam room and "Russian" style bucket shower was over the top. The pool, the menu and the hospitality were awesome. We are returning in September
