    Helpful staff, quiet hotel

    We stayed here last week. Not luxurious but a lovely, quiet hotel and location. Air conditioning not good for hot nights. Exceptionally helpful staff on reception at all times. No restaurant in September but one close by. Mondello ideally located for Palermo from the bus stop on the hotel doorstep but a lovely place in its own right. Gino Marino Ristorante on the beach our best recommendation.

    I have stayed at Hotel Villa Esperia two times, for two years in a row and I plan to go again next summer. The hotel is clean, very well located, 5 mins walking from the beautiful sandy beach and wonderful sea of Mondello. The hotel is actually an art déco villa that has been transformed into a hotel, so the rooms are high. It is situated in an area is with beautiful art déco villas with beautiful gardens.I love to swim in a beautiful and warm sea and I stay on the beach all day long, so the hotel is for sleeping and taking a shower.The bus stop for Palermo is just outside the hotel and it takes approx. 15 mins by bus (line 806) to the very center of Palermo.Good breakfast. The owner and the staff are friendly and helpful.

    Good value for money. Close to the beach. Friendly staff. Tasty breakfast. 25 mins walking distance from the centre of Mondelo. 8km from Palermo. Ask for 1st and 2nd floor rooms. They are more spacious.

    I was there a few days ago. My room was in the yard next to the restaurant. people shouting practically in my room. no double glazing. people having a drink and children running about. could not sleep before 1am every day. room was poorly furnished. Not even a bedside table. bed was against the wall so i had to jump over husband during the night to use the toilet. breakfast was fresh and enough.

    stayed here on a bike tour of Sicily and this was a wonderful place to stay. clean room and service was excellent. it was a serve yourself breakfast and the selections were all excellent. espresso coffee, toast, various jams, rolls, eggs were are available.
