Location

This hotel enjoys a stunning location only a few metres away from Cefalù where guests will find plenty of shopping and entertainment venues. The hotel affords glorious views out over the sea and the green surroundings. It is around 150 m to the relaxing shingle beach. Palermo Airport lies approximately 100 km from the hotel.

Facility

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Most units include a balcony with sea views, where guests can relax and linger a while. While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. A delicious and varied buffet is prepared for breakfast every day, and a set menu can be ordered at lunch and dinner.     What an exquisite property! Gorgeous setting away from the crowds but accessible to the town. Lovely pool, spa, rooms and dining! Most importantly the staff members were professional, warm, and attentive. Special shout out to Francesco in the bar! His drinks were delicious works of art! Barbara took fantastic care of us in the lounge. We were traveling with a baby and she attended to our every need.     Gorgeous hotel, the location is breathtaking overlooking a beautiful dramatic bay. The hotel is boutique style with lots of individual touches, doesn't feel corporate and very much a family if luxurious concern. The rooms have outside seating, crisp high grade cotton bedding and divine Ortigia products.Drinks service by pool has not been the best today but at breakfast it was excellent. The breakfast itself is full of choice with real premium and quality food. The tables are tablecloths and waiter service for drinks and egg orders. The reception was very welcoming with lovely arrival drinks, car and cases whisked away.The location is easy walk to bustling but dramatic Cefalu. Our room, 201, backs onto the railway line but it so quiet I didn't even realise for two days! All in all this is a 5 star experience.     Absolutely perfect from Check-in to Check-out. Easy to find from Train station because everyone knows this resort. Gated access was nice but the area is very safe. We were greeted by staff, 3-4 people with big smiles. Chiara took extra care with us, walked the facility, provided a welcome drink & sat by the pool with us to explain everything about our stay. Chiara is so lovely and nice. So is Benedict, Antonia & everyone here. The whole staff was helpful all week as we needed to get around several times and ways. Trips to shopping, Dinners, Bank etc… All smiles from staff all the time and all smiles from us also!Thank you for making this trip special.     Back in May, reserved to stay at this hotel in late November, as it appeared to be charming. friends who are traveling with us did the same.When our friends reached out to the hotel about a week ago to request a transfer to the airport, they were told that hotel management had unilaterally decided to close early on Nov. 22, and that their reservations were therefore cancelled. A week later, the hotel had not yet contacted us to cancel our reservations, so we contacted the hotel ourselves.The reservations department was rather unhelpful and unapologetic when they informed us that our reservations had been unilaterally cancelled too, which is NOT something one would expect from a luxury hotel. They did not have any explanation as to why our reservations would not be honored nor why they had failed to contact us regarding the cancellation (I honestly think the hotel would have declined to inform us of the cancellation and that we would have showed up in Cefalu the day of our reservations without anyplace to stay!)BUYER BEWARE! Do not trust this hotel!!
