  Location is perfect and street is nice and quiet in a hectic town. Paolo and his team mate were more than helpful and charming, made the stay even better with their smiles. Room 508 is well worth asking for. Aircon exxcellent. Breakfast is basic.

  In Palermo, we have also stayed at Hotel Giardino Inglese, Ibis Styles Palermo Cristal, Hotel Plaza Opéra and Hotel Ucciardhome. My reviews, to compare, can be found on TripAdvisor.Pros:- Location: (Walking) Teatro Massimo (4mins), Quattro Canti (12mins), Chiesa della Martorana (14mins), Palermo Cathedral (19mins), Mercato di Ballarò (20mins).- Bathroom amenities: Soap bar, shampoo/shower gel, hairdryer.- Very good external soundproofing.Cons:- WiFi extremely slow for 2024 standards (average only 14 Mbps) with frequent dropouts, often not working at all.- Maintenance lacking upkeep with issues like a dripping toilet, peeling paint on walls and ceiling, a broken shower head, and water leaking over the bathroom floor from the shower.- Tiny TV with no international channels.- Appalling breakfast experience with staff clearly unhappy to be there and multiple tables left uncleaned for over 30 minutes. Questionable hygiene, no real juice—instead, a fizzy, fermenting fruit drink from a machine. No fresh fruit and very limited breakfast options overall. Use of plastic cups and cutlery made it feel like a high school canteen. Better off going out for breakfast.- Very old and dated; the hotel needs renovation.

  Reasonable, basic hotel in centre of Palermo

  This is an average 3* hotel. You get what you pay for. First the good points. It is very clean and in a perfect location. The air conditioning in the bedrooms work well. The breakfast is cold continental. No hot food but the selection is ok. Cheese, meats, boiled eggs and pastries plus cereals and fruit. Self service in a canteen style breakfast room.The rooms have a hair dryer and an empty fridge so you can keep your own drinks and food there. There is no kettle or tea making facilities. Although the hotel is on a quiet street with little traffic noise, the walls are very thin and you can hear neighbours talking and even hear them plug appliances into sockets.Room 476 has no view, overlooks the void. At midnight, every night! there is a weird banging that sounds like fireworks. It lasts about 5 minutes and we could not get to the bottom of what caused it.In summary. .. A good, clean cheap, no frills hotel in the centre of Palermo

  Friendly staff who provided helpful advice regarding buses and what to do in Palermo, rooms clean, good breakfast, great location. Pillows could be fluffier. Parking available but quite tight. Overall great experience would stay again.

  Great location, on a side street off the main street. Around 5-10mins to airport bus stop at Politeama or a few minutes walk in the other direction to the square where larger coaches leave for tour groups.Rooms a good size, with desk, wardrobe, luggage space etc. Double beds typically 2 singles pushed together but covered with one sheet/bedding....so a twin room has this and an extra separate single bed.Basic toiletries and hairdryer provided in room, fridge, reasonable shower pressure.Staff on reception very friendly, free wifi throughout and free city maps available on reception desk. Storage room available for luggage if arriving early/leaving after check out time.Breakfast reasonable continental selection- breads & rolls, pastries, ham/cheese, cereal etc....but not as much choice as some smaller hotels in other parts of Sicily. Fresh fruit selection was exclusively green apples on one day. Didn't seem to be many staff at breakfast so took a while for some items to be restocked at busy times. Natural yogurt available from a machine but no flavoured ones...and fruit juice was very weak and watery. Furniture in breakfast room quite basic, not the most comfortable and lots of large tables but not many small ones....maybe reflects that this hotel often hosts tour or other larger groups.Overall good accommodation and friendly staff in a convenient location, slightly let down by breakfast being a bit more cafeteria style/basic than I might have expected for a hotel of this size.
