City centre but otherwise not worth the stay

    rating14 Dec 2025

Close to city centre, parking is included for €10 per day, but we were asked to leave our keys with the staff when using their garage. We weren't informed of this before checking in, when we had already seen someone in the garage (I assume the owner) moving cars of guests around. It made me uncomfortable but since I didn't have other options I had to agree. Rooms are spacious, but bland and empty-feeling, and has few amenities (no coffee making and the TV is very small for some reason)Check out is at 10am, which is very early

Very clean modern and practical hotel with spacious suite

    rating19 Nov 2025

We stayed for two nights in November in junior suite and arrived by car.Parking is funny arrangement in not fit for purpose garage where older man asks you to double park… it is 10 euros a day.Room was available to us after check in time of 3pm. We had to wait another 30 min. It was strange as that night we did not see many guests. Junior suite was spacious, modern and exceptionally clean. Housekeeping was outstanding. The bathroom had jacuzzi and seperate walk in shower. Bring your own toiletries as there is only wall mounted soap. Somehow water in jacuzzi was only lukewarm so I had to top it up from the washing basin using the kettle I requested…The room on 5th floor did nit have much of the view - facing the wall but it was quiet at night.Mini bar prices were reasonable at 2 to 4 euros which was fine for the convienience. Location is not great for Ragusa Ibla old town - it is solid 40 min walk incl. many stairs up. For modern Ragusa you are in the centre, close to the stores, restaurants and duomo. We were making day trip to Scicli and Modica - driving through narrow country in the mountains can be stressful with the rental cars.Breakfast had cold scrumble eggs and basic options - nothing special.Overall I would recommend staying in this hotel for practical and safe experience in clean and modern room.

    Not 4-Star: try somewhere else

    rating27 May 2025

A ‘modern. City hotel masquerading as 4-star, while really about 3 (if I was generous)Only 1 lift. So access can be problematic at times. The room we were in was huge. However, it was poorly equipped and maintained. The shower would have been lovely if only the shower head had been cleaned sometime in the last year, and the nasty laminate flooring was uneven and cracked in places, causing a trip hazard. Curtains were difficult to draw. There was no bedside light on my side of the bed. The safe didn’t work.Breakfast was, in my opinion, quite horrible with few choices and many rude tourist groups who made the experience even worse. Food was not restocked quickly.Reception staff seemed to move around in a confused dream.

Lovely hotel in a very nice area.

    rating31 Oct 2024

We stayed here 2 nights while traveling with a tour group. It is a lovely hotel and we had a very large room - although others did not. The bathtub is very high and hard to get in and out of for short people like myself and there are no hand rails. It is close to the local bars and restaurants and in a very nice area. The breakfast was very good. However, when going to pay my mini bar tab with Euros they did not have change - so that was inconvenient.

    Comfortable

    rating23 Oct 2024

First thing to realize 4 stars in Sicily is different than 4 stars in the US. With thatWe were in a superior accomodation. The room was HUGE, Clean and bed was very conmfortable. Bathroom was very large Shower was so modern with so many nozzles we couldnt figure out how to use it. Over size large balcony deck but side door was ajar. Breakfast was wonderful and huge just like every breakfast hotel in Sicily. Area wa great with many places to eat and shop Single Elevator service spotty and front staff trying but too busy
