We've stayed at this hotel for several years now when visiting our family in Modica. It's lovely, clean and the staff are very attentive and accommodating.

Words can't describe how much I enjoyed staying here! First the hotel's staff was really helpful and kind. I enjoyed talking with them, especially with the french lady who was working Saturday. Since I was the only guest there, she kept me company and we had a really nice conversation. About the rooms...mine was a one-bedroom room, relatively small but enough for one person. Both the room and the bathroom were really clean. In the room there are a mini-fridge, a tv, a kettle and a few amenities in the bathroom. About breakfast... Salty and sweet food are both available and the man who works in the kitchen is really nice and professional.

The staff was wonderful. Ample parking at the back. Perfect location - walking distance from centre. Breakfast was abundant and breakfast/kitchen staff were extremely helpful - catered for Coeliacs!! Nice pool area. Peaceful. Thank you we had a great time .

Learn to pronounceThe hotel enjoys a good location both for those who went on business and those who go on holiday to visit Modica and the other baroque towns located not far away. For this reason I would qualify it as a typical city hotel with its respective standard, with the addition of the possibility of a small swimming pool (very useful for spending a couple of quiet hours and cooling off). We had an enjoyable stay at this newly built hotel despite the poorly designed bed plinth which does cause problems. The location is very good being situated at one end of the lower city and two minutes from the bus station for day trips to Ragusa and Scicli. We arrived by train at the other end of the city and should have pre-booked a taxi as they are hard to find...could not pick us up at the time of our arrival. A few minutes walk to the main lower sights, tourist train, etc. The bedroom was small, modern with a street view and we did not experience any excessive traffic noise. Bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was good although no fresh orange juice and the young male waiter was excellent. Nice, comfortable interiors with inexpensive food and drinks.There is the huge bonus of a private outdoor swimming pool although more sun umbrellas are needed by the pool. Staff overall were helpful. The hotel is inexpensive so you cannot expect 5 star quality but it is great value...just wish they would change the bed plinths!
