Location

The hotel is situated on the promenade of the city, about 800 metres from the historical city centre, some 1.5 kilometres from the main railway station and regional and national bus station, and roughly 12 kilometres from Vincenzo Bellini International Airport.

101 rooms, including 4 single rooms and 95 double rooms, are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by a lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     I was there just for a couple of days, but the staff was very friendly, the view amazing and the pool was very clean, breakfast in a friendly ambiance was also very nice.     The worst holiday I have ever had the hotel only caters for corporate parties and private functions no where to eat and proper meals outside the hotel mainly only serving icecream or cake the hotel is old and shabby told one night cldnt eat outside because corporate party booked. The hotel has no atmosphere whatsoever unless ur Italian or organising a party. It’s on a big fast dual carriageway not mentioned on the website we asked about the tunnel underneath tge road to the beach it’s shut suddenly open but not for us but a big corporate event not for us. We spent our time in the supermarket to eat on our balcony I have never been to a worst hotel ever. Recommendation don’t go there unless you want to be ignored the hotel is a joke complained to love holidays no reply booked with a reputable company for our winter break which love holiday’s isn’t as they haven’t had the courtesy to reply to our complaints. Don’t go !!!

    The location of the hotel is excellent. The luna park for kids is next door and there is also a small playground opposite the road for the kids. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and street kiosks around the hotel to eat from. The staff was super helpful, could speak english very well and always happy to help out with a smile. The breakfast was ok. In my opinion it could improve a little. However, the food at restaurant by the pool was excellent. The rooms were classic style but comfortable, spacious and super clean.     I do not recommend the Nettuno Hotel. The “classic” rooms are neglected, unmaintained and old. The bathroom is very, very bad. They do not respond to complaints. The hotel does not correspond to 4 stars.     Hotel Nettuno could be a good experience if the “family “ could be removed!We stayed for 11 nights much to our dissatisfaction. Had we known 2 nights would have been enough, but because of how it was presented by Booking.com we booked the 11 nights to save us having to move hotels.I had requested a Coeliac breakfast for my wife but this never happened! A shrug of the shoulders from the staff at breakfast cancelled this out even though I showed them the Coeliac Card in Sicilian. We went to the local supermarket and bought food for breakfast there and ate it at the table!!!We asked to eat in the evening but were put off by the staff not wanting to converse with us, they were more concerned about dealing with parties booked by local Sicilians.The “family” moved in every day in the afternoon taking over the pool, loud children and obnoxious parents and grandparents having no respect for paying guests.We felt cheated by Booking.com.Local businesses didn’t want to help us enjoy our stay by not speaking English which they knew well, ok perhaps we should have been more able to use Italian but we were prepared to spend their euro!The taxi and train services were very good and helped us to enjoy our stay.The hotel itself needs a lot of work!Carpets are beyond repair and glass needs cleaned as does the lifts.The air conditioning kept us awake for the first 3 nights after which we generally got used to the noise.Breakfast was terrible.Reception staff were very good and helpful.Room was supposed to be the top standard but was only close to 1 star in Northern Ireland Pool was lovely except for the “family” who were total pests!!!!!!!
