    The location of the hotel is good. Breakfast lady lovely and choices enough for us. Would have liked to have breakfast earlier, opened at 8.30. No one in reception after 20.00 and if you arrived later there would be a surcharge for late check in.Avoid room 303 if you are claustrophobic, smallest room we have ever stayed in and as no lift you had to carry your luggage up three long stairs. No room to leave your bag open, had to take out what you needed and close and store away. Very small double bed, the other rooms had bigger beds.We had booked three rooms with balcony at the same price. Rooms so different in size and one had only a French balcony where you couldn’t step out.Photos on hotel website looks much nicer than our rooms did.I wouldn’t stay here again. Felt like it wasn’t what we had booked.

    Very Nice and Clean, basic hotel . Room with a sunny Balcony. Great location to easily access all of Ortigia and Syracuse. Owner and employees are very friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again

    We were taken care of so well with so much care and attention from Samuele, who was so happy to help us with everything during our stay. Very clean, spacious and generally wonderful and reasonably priced amongst some crazy august prices!

    The hotel is in an historic building very elegantly restored. Rooms are exceptionally large and very clean. Mine had a balcony overlooking the sea, other have a terrace with a lovely view on the city. Location is perfect an walking distance to all sites in Ortigia . Staff is extremely nice and helpful ! Wifi works perfectly.

    I stayed for two nights last week with a group of university students. Location is great, and rooms, though plain and simple, are charming. Wi-Fi not great, but that’s no surprise. Breakfast was unexciting—how about some fruit? But the one area that really needs work is the most basic: staff should be friendly and helpful but they’re not either. When I asked for dolcificante for my coffee, she shrugged and said they were out; the next day when I asked again, she shrugged and said it was not her responsibility. Second: there was no supplemental toilet paper provided on the second night even when what remained wasn’t adequate. But there is no one around to assist in the evening; and when I requested a new roll the next morning, the staff person was annoyed that I expected her to provide it immediately.This place needs friendly and helpful staff!
