This family-run hotel is steeped in history and character and enjoys an excellent location in the historic centre of Palermo, just 300 m from Teatro Massimo. The bus and train station are about 800 m away, the beach is some 30 minutes away by car and Palermo Airport is approximately 50 km from the establishment.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1821. The hotel has 15 single rooms and 15 double rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema.     Warm helpful staff, comfortable beds, wonderful breakfast. Beautiful location, has an elevator which is helpful. In walking distance to the Capo Mercato, Archeological Museum. Easy to meet tour guides nearby.

    Hotel Posta is perfectly located in the center of the old city and it is close to all the important sites/ places. It is a family hotel that has been run since 1927. The service is excellent and the employees are really helpful and kind.The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is delicious. The hotel is located on a small and calm street parallell to Via Roma. Fifty meters from the hotel, on Via Roma, the airport shuttle stops and the price is euro 6 per person.We couldn't have found a better hotel for our wonderful stay in Palermo!

    Great stay! Staff are brilliant, welcoming and very attentive. Alberto and Novella are particularly lovely and give really good recommendations for things to do and nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast is great. Rooms are clean and they give lots of shampoo and body lotion. Kettle in the room and the tea and coffee are replenished every day. Location is great (right in the centre but not noisy).

    Perfect! Conveniently located in a quiet area just off Via Roma. Short walk to excellent dining options and all the sights of Palermo.Staff were exceptional. So pleasant and helpful.Dining room for breakfast was so quiet with fine food and pleasant table service.Bar service was great too and we were plus with delicious cakes… no charge.Forget the big hotels and come to this fine family owned hotel.

    Good points were very clean room, and clean hotel. Friendly service at breakfast and car retrieval from Car Park was great. Also great location close to Restaurants and attractions. Bad points were front of hotel being renovated, frequent annoying power cuts including 3 unexpected ones due to switch tripping, doors are old and door locks are terrible, they state on Trip Advisor they have access to a private beach which is false and finally the terrace upstairs is a shambles and in dire need of renovation.
