    The Plaza Hotel Roof Top Bar Restaurant is a 5 Star Dining Experience ❤️❤️ Worth a visit if in the area. Experienced staff with stunning views and amazing food.

    We send 3 nights in this hotel. Family room 314. Room next to the lift. Above the room must be the restaurant/ Breakfast room. Late in the evening and early morning just after 6am you could hear trolleys on wheels being moved. The insulation is pretty zero. 14th November two groups of selffish Italians arrived at 1.40am and 3am. They were banging doors and shouting. The hotel should put a sign asking people coming late to be considerate to the other guests sleeping. The bed was comfortable but quality of sleep very poor. Hotel catered for groups. As an independent traveller I do not recommend this hotel. The bathroom is extremely small. Only 5 hangers for 3 adults. Kettle with 2 mugs for 3 people. In the bathroom no tissue box. No pictures on the wall. Television too small for the room. From the bed you could hardly see it. Not much thoughts have been put into the design of the room. The hotel is 20 minutes from the centre of town. £15 for an Uber taxi. Bus across the road but only once every hour. Parking is £10 per night but in November a lots of spaces in the streets. The slope for parking is very steep. Parking is not attached to hotel. Breakfast was good but one day had to use paper cups as no clean cups available. the receptionists were very pleasant and on check out the one on duty apologised for the noise and she knew about it. Other customers must have complained as well. I wouldn’t choose to stay in this hotel again

    We stopped in looking to have a drink on the rooftop bar. The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly helpful and called up to make sure they could accommodate us. Although no one was seated outside they sat and served us right away. It was a wonderful view and experience. When we were ready to leave the front desk kindly called us a taxi.

    Great hotel, lovely friendly staff. Fabulous balcony view of sea. Breakfast was delicious, beautiful view top of the sea . Clean and traditional Italian decor. Great option of beach bars, restaurants on the strip. Would definitely stay again!     Good start to Sicily tour

    Good stay after the stress of Luton and Ryanair. 2 nights here set us up for a week in Sicily. It is not a wealthy place and street cleaning could be improved. Plaza very welcoming after a long day travelling. Veronica in reception had great English and was super helpful. Dinner was available at 21:00 without a problem. The rooftop restaurant has a fantastic sea view. We went there for 2 good breakfasts. Don’t bother with the coffee machine though- just ask the friendly waiters.
