Location

This hotel is located on one of the most admired squares in the centre of Palermo. It is also near the harbour and the bus station, which connects the city centre with the airport and Mondello beach. Countless shopping venues, nightclubs, bars and restaurants are just a few minutes away, while it is about 2 km to the railway station and approximately 10 km to the beach. Guests will reach Palermo airport in around 30 km.

Facility

The hotel has 94 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 9 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     Beautiful hotel in a great location!

    What a great hotel in an excellent location. The hotel is close to the historical part of town but far enough away to not have the noise and constant tourist traffic. The room was clean, spacious and smelt so good. The service was excellent and the breakfast was the best we’ve had at a hotel - 100% with the 13 euro! If in Palermo again, I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Hotel Politeama!

    The concierge, Filippo Gambino, is a star! He went above and beyond to make sure that our entire vacation in Sicily was seamless. From welcoming us daily with a smile to walking us through (& booking) all the various excursions and cooking classes and coordinating all the transfers to hotels around the island since the trains were on strike, Filippo curated an amazing visit for us both in and out of Palermo.

    A seven night stay in a spacious room with balcony overlokking the piazza that we enjoyed very much. The staff are friendly, polite and efficient. The restaurant/cocktail bar on the roof is not to be missed.

    The hotel was well situated and had a great rooftop restaurant with fabulous views of the city. Filippe, the concierge arranged our day trips in advance and they were of a very high standard. He also arranged a birthday cake to surprise my husband and this was much appreciated. He certainly made our stay memorable.Our room was great, an 8th floor suite with a wrap around balcony and a lovely seating area.Breakfast was very good.Highly recommend this hotel.

    Was surprised the reviews were so good. It is fine, rooms were small with lots of road noise but clean and adequate. The rooftop bar was nice. Construction in the lobby while I was there. Location is just OK, not near the main tourist sights. Would consider another hotel next time. Nothing really wrong with it, but nothing great either.
