    the residence is away from the resort and this is away from the pool and the beach. Going by foot to the resort is very dangerous due to the fact there is no peatonal way. it is better to rent an apartment close to the public beach of Furnari Tonnarella. ReDelfinoCorallo, Direttore at Residence Corallo, responded to this review Salve, il complesso turistico di Portorosa è ben servito da una navetta gratuita che passa regolarmente ogni mezz'ora e porta alla spiaggia e in piscina.Forse non si è informato come avrebbe dovuto.

    The port was built in 1985 and is very run down. It was purpose-built and has an air of faded 80s glory. It's a bit like a tired theme park. Some parts are still well kept and nice.Corallo is fine. Spacious, great aircon, nice garden (we stayed in opale). Showers are tiny. Reception is at the barrier gates at the entrance of the port complex, 200m from residence.The pool is more than 1km walk away and costs extra and is full of Italian bureaucracy: must wear swimming hat, can't go on beach AND pool (one or the other) etc etc.In conclusion, it's ok but I wouldn't rush back to Portorosa.
