    We were in Italy for almost 4 weeks and this was our favorite hotel out of all the places we stayed. Very convenient to restarants . They had a great pool bar/restarant. The room and beds were great. The staff was AMAZING. The view was just wonderful. A perfect place to stay.     Toddler friendly facilities and lovely staff

    The things we loved about this hotel - good value for money - handy park and games room to keep the little ones entertained - very clean and tidy - cleaning staff were working hard and serviced rooms daily - good selection at breakfast buffet - food was fresh - staff were really friendly - we didn’t use the pool or the pool bar so can’t comment- we managed to have a convenient parking spot directly outside (but we went in shoulder season - October) - room 105 had a lovely terrace as pictured - in terms of Castelldemare de golfo - we thought the 2 supermarkets, Deco and Conan sold amazing takeaway food from the deli STEFANIA BUCCELLATO, Direttore generale at Hotel Punta Nord-Est, responded to this review Hello Jyotic737,thank you for choosing our hotel and for your lovely words about our staff :) It was a pleasure to have you here and we are glad to hear that you enjoyed our breakfast buffet, the cleanliness of our rooms and the kids-friendly facilities.We hope to have the pleasure to welcome you back for a future stay in Castellammare del Golfo.Greetings from all our team!

    Friendly staff, good location, unaccomodating hotel manager about hazardous mold conditions

    Strong mildew smell from AC and the hotel manager was unaccomodating after we found mold in our bathroom. We asked politely to get refunded for the remaining days in our reservation, but the manager declined and called us liars.

    We booked this place on our honeymoon and it was the biggest mistake of our trip. This review is strictly on the hotel itself as the staff were all friendly. Do not stay here if you are wanting to relax and get some sleep. It was like a kids playground , the pool filled with kids toys and pee, and yelling/ screaming all day and night in the halls. You can hear every single movement of the people above you to which we complained multiple times and no resolution. The room was dirty and old with a nasty bed and one pillow each that were hard as a rock. There is no comforter, just a sheet and an old scratchy blanket. I would consider this place a motel at best. You have to pay to have pool towels and keep the same one your entire stay which are also old and scratchy. We tried to change rooms two times as we booked the “superior with a view” but it was all booked and there was nothing better than this which was hard to believe. We were on the 4th floor out of 5 and could hear every movement of the people above us. We almost considered just leaving and losing our money and I wish we did because for three days we did not sleep or get to enjoy the pool. We asked if we could cancel after our first day and they said no. I’m sure this place is good if you have kids and don’t care about dirty rooms but as a young couple on our honeymoon it was the worst experience we’ve had. The photos they post are much more luxurious than reality.
