  Very comfortable hotel in a convenient location

  I had a wonderful 6 night stay at the Miljunka and would definitely go back. The rooms were large and comfortable, and mine had a beautiful view of the sea on one side and the mountains on the other. Everything was immaculately clean. The staff was great and spoke English, which was helpful. Very nice to have wi-fi, and the continental breakfast was good. The hotel is located in a very convenient location right across from the beach and within walking distance of everything in Sant'Agata.

  Basic accommodation with excellent service

  We stayed at Miljunka for one week. The room was a suite with a kitchenette and basic furnishings. The air conditioning was sufficient, and there is a sensor that disables all AC when an exterior window or door is opened. We started each day with their complementary continental breakfast, which featured a selection of delicious croissants, cereal, yogurt, coffee to order, and some sliced ham and cheese.The location is close to an array of nice restaurants, when you exit from the front, turn left and walk a few hundred km. (Skip La Fenice and keep walking.) The menus feature mostly seafood, with some restaurants only having a steak or pasta with tomato sauce as an alternative.We received excellent service at Miljunka, and the reception staff were excellent, from checking us in and orienting us, to helping arrange excursions, to recommending restaurants. They even started breakfast early for us one morning when we they found out we would be leaving for an adventure earlier than breakfast time. They are very close to the boat tour companies that take you to nearby islands. The train station is very close, within 100-200km.The beaches just outside the hotel are beautiful to look in the morning and early evenings at but not great for hanging out. They are operated by bars and they have services like umbrellas. We didn't find the bars to have great services but that is something outside of hotel control. You can ask for beach towels at the hotel. That said, if you have a car, some beautiful beaches are within driving distance. The hotel also gives you free parking. We would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to save money, be centrally located to driving destinations with 1-2 hours away and as pleathora of restaurants for evening meals. There are also lots of activities for small kids in town as well.

  Beautiful hotel in a great location

  Absolutely lovely hotel, we had a whole apartment at a very affordable price, and breakfast was lovely. Everything was really clean and well decorated and had a gorgeous sea view. Although we got a bit lost to start with trying to find reception, the staff were super friendly and helpful.

  The hotel is super clean, the staff is friendly and the price is extremely affordable. Salvatore and Teresa behind the desk were helpful and friendly. The hotel has a modern, super clean environment. It has a little bit of a Spartan feel and look to it but for me it was a plus rather than a negative. If you're looking for a spacious room, new and clean at a low price, this is for you.

  It was by complete accident that I found Residence Miljunka. It was beautiful, clean with remarkable and friendly hostesses. The view was phenomenal. Great restaurants and train station within walking distance. Sant'Agata di Militello is a beautiful little town. Ask for Salvatore to take you around. It helps if you can speak Italian
