    Fabulous room - two kingsize beds! Wonderful large balcony. The best part of breakfast is making your own fresh orange juice. Location next to beach is great and parking ample. For value would give 5 stars! Just pity they don’t have more staff as breakfast tables weren’t cleaned. Perhaps they just had too many guests. It is a very busy hotel but amazingly the rooms are quiet. Love the mountain views too.     Beautiful hotel lacking the finishing touches

    Got a last minute deal for 3 nights here. It's a lovely hotel with plenty of options. Here are my observations:Pro's: - large open spaces and extensive grounds with garden, pool, hot tub, restaurant, seating, chill out areas and conference rooms.- free car park, free if park further than roundabout within hotel grounds, but paid if park right next to hotel entrance- private sandy beach area with good width - free gym (if you activate your room card from reception) spa services if paid for- responsive reception staff who were happy to listen to special requests- modern quirky designing- one of the few hotels that offer meal options at competitive prices- breakfast was buffet style and excellent but few options for vegetarians at the hot breakfast table.Con's:- no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms. Have to go to the cafe and pay for it.- no free water provided - the only time you can access it is at breakfast if included in your stay. This did not feel right as water is a basic need - half board did not include any drinks- meals were upmarket, presented nicely but were small portions sizes and repetitive. Off peak is 30/09 - 01/06 i.e. majority of the year you don't get buffet meal service, only a la carte for lunch or dinner or evening entertainment or pool/beach/hot tub access (beach area is roped off with no upkeeping)- a la carte dinner had 2/3 options for a starter or main meal, plus dessert table. Nothing tasted special, food was quite average but presented immaculately.- most meals had pork, fish or meat with little or no options for vege/vegan, halal, kosher or special diets- most desserts had alcohol in the sauces so not enough alcohol free options- service was extremely slow, we waited 30 mins between courses- only one of 3 towels replaced when room serviced each day- beds had legs which scraped each time you moved- air conditioning in my room did not cool (only heat option was working) so hot at night- buildings and furnishings need some TLC in some areasOverall a good hotel but could be improved with some care and attention.     Famiky break, excellent hotel

    Fantastic hotel, we were half board, breakfast was buffet and was excellent, dinner was buffet one night and menu the other nights, both were very good, rooms were spacious, spotless, 4 pools, we were travelling with our 2 year old, the lifeguard Marcello was excellent, I had to take a phone call one day when I was by tge pool and Marcello started playing with our little boy, brought him to the playground which was next to the pool so I could see him and played with him, all children will be safe in the pool with Marcello around, fabulous stay Customer Care Saracen, Proprietario at Saracen Sands Hotel & Congress Centre, responded to this review Dear "o57280v",Thank you for your wonderful feedback!     There are many wonderful things to say about the Saracen Sands Resort but the best part is the music in the evening. The singer has an incredible voice and gets the audience dancing and singing along. He has a large assortment of music from current American to traditional Italian.     Great facilities for a congress and, at the same time, nice place to relax.
