    Excellent hotel, there is the possibility to explore many places in Sicily with rental transportation or by booking excursions. We really enjoyed traveling with the driver Filippo: excellent communication, comfortable vehicle, you are provided with water and small snacks. At the hotel, you feel at home because of the friendly, helpful staff, very tasty food, and peaceful rest in the room.

    The staff here are the best i have ever encountered in ItalyWarm and friendly .The entire hotel is immaculately clean .our room included a kitchenette and a washing machine which was so very nice .there is a supermarket just a short walk away the prices there are very good i compared with other supermarkets .I do feel a car is essential .i really enjoyed my morning cappuccinos and loved my lunchtime salads. My husband enjoyed the variety of pastries for breakfast To travel around a care is really necessary in my opinion or just stay by the pool for our stay .we always found a shady spot .sometimes the car park is at capacity

    Great hotel but not for everyone

    If you’re wanting a relaxed but really classy hotel this is it. You will need a car as it’s 20mins out of Catarina but very close to typical Sicilian seaside towns. We stayed in room 5. (My husband myself and our older son.) Room was super, cool, exceptionally clean and a great size with its own little courtyard and hot tub. It also has a very small kitchen with hob, sink and kettle. (There’s a great supermarket and fabulous bakers 5minutes walk away) We stayed last week in June first week in July 2025. This is not a busy hotel with entertainment and activities, it’s quiet, attracts international couples and families but just really lovely. The pool was quiet most days and gorgeous to swim in and there’s a cracking view of mount Etna from the roof top. There was always sun-beds free regardless of what time we arrived at the pool. The housekeeping staff work really hard and it shows, the reception were super helpful with lots of info. The breakfast and dinner staff were not gushy with customer service but thoughtful, warm and efficient - just the way we like it. The breakfast was more continental but of good quality. The restaurant in the evening very lovely, great food but a little posh for us. The ice-cream and fruit we had at lunchtimes was delicious! We really enjoyed our stay - even if the Sicilian driving was a little crazy.

    I cannot recommend this hotel enough. From the gorgeous setting to the beautiful suite and the amazing staff it was truly wonderful. A small boutique hotel amongst a beautiful setting. Fillipo (taxi driver) who picked us up from the airport was generous with his information on the route to the hotel. He and the staff went beyond their duty to ensure our stay was unforgettable. Melissa and Chaira - so many thanks for your hospitality- truly unique service. The upgraded room was the icing on the cake! We will definitely be back! Karen Milner

    Food / dinner was out of this world. Chef is a culinary genius. Staff very friendly and organised a car, trips etc. They upgraded our room to an apartment. Would fully recommend to anyone going to sicily to use this as a base for travelling. Amazing.
