    We are customers for generations and decades. This year we came as usual for a long weekend. Accidentally, there was a wedding and the hotel was fully booked. They didn’t inform us in advance about the event despite we made a reservation way in advance so there is no chance they didn’t know about the wedding at the time of our reservation. They gave us a room over the terrace where the party took place instead. All day long loud music and people talking aloud. We asked for a quieter room, but no luck. Our toddler did not get the afternoon sleep. The hairdryer in the room is like from the eighties, and when it hits up, you can get burned by the iron screws on the handle. Pool area: guests smoking one sigarette after another, hotel staff just doesn’t care. The security stairs are dangerous for children, but the doors with the access are kept open. Bad smell coming out from the air conditioning. In the Breakfast area I had to ask for food refill as the buffet was empty when I came down at 9:30 am and after 15 mins it was still empty. Nobody came to take coffee order; when I asked, the waiter, showing signals of stress, asked to wait some time. Waiters not giving way to the guests inside the restaurant area, running back and forth at a speed. No single table available, had to share the table with other guests, at the reception was told to find a table by myself, so no reception was offered at all - cheap hostel style (this hotel is supposed to be a 4-star). Cherry on top - 10:30 am the pool completely full, no umbrellas at all, the staff inviting me to take a chaise longue under the direct sun. With a toddler. Amazing. If you cannot manage so many guests, don’t take reservations at all!

    Luckily didn’t stay here but walked to take a look How it is still open ?? It is terrible The areas outside the hotel are a liabilityThe hotel should be condemned

    The hotel itself is fine but the bedrooms are far too hot at 30degrees centigrade.     Quiet seaside resort

    Right on the water and less busy than downtown Palermo. Bar downstairs off the lobby. Best thing was this was the only hotel that put coffee carafes on the tables for breakfast. Front desk doesn't speak much English. I also do not believe they get many tour busses. (Roads in are very narrow with sharp turns.)     There is a culture of rudeness especially in the older men serving. Maybe because we are American? Hospitality starts at the top. We are probably making them happy by leaving days early because of the rudeness.
