    Fantastic, modern, spacious, spotless hotel.Friendly, helpful staff.Beautiful pool area with stunning views.Beautiful kitten we made friends with at the hotel.

    Officialy it's a 3* hotel but we think it's a 4* hotel. Very nice accomodation. The appartment was renovated and brand new. Location is also perfect.And also the staff is very friendly and helpfull. Giving advice for nice restaurants but also carrying the suitcases to the 3rd floor.We were very surprised and completely happy!

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Giardini! The room was excellent and was cleaned every other day. The bed linen was changed every other day, and we received fresh towels. The surroundings were also tidy and well-maintained. On our last day, we were able to use the room all day for an additional fee. This was great because we didn't leave until the evening and could still use the pool and shower before leaving.The pool was also excellent. There was always a bed available, no matter what time you arrived. The water temperature was wonderful, and you can get food and drinks at the bar. It's open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and is always clean and tidy.The breakfast buffet is adequate, but rather limited. The same every day, and as a diabetic, there was no brown bread available, so I brought my own. We did, however, have a lot of trouble with wasps (who apparently love scrambled eggs) and the many stray cats that beg for food near our table. They work in two shifts, and personally, we found the second shift inconvenient because much of the food was already gone, or the plates, bowls, cutlery, etc., were missing because they were in the dishwasher.We opted for half board, which has a separate menu. You could swap dinner for lunch if, for example, you weren't there in the evening due to an excursion or wanted to eat elsewhere. You did get the same menu, so you ate the same thing for lunch as you did for dinner. Lots of pasta or pizza, and during our holiday, there were fewer and fewer dishes available. Fish dishes weren't available the entire holiday, which is a shame. There's also a grill party with live music every Friday, but it wasn't mentioned that with half board, you couldn't eat there that evening. We didn't leave until 7:55 PM on our last day, but we weren't entitled to lunch. We had to pay for it. We didn't use half board on the first day either, as we arrived late at night and that day was therefore considered lost. So in total, including the grill evening, we missed out on 3 meals... No more half board for us.

    What a pleasant environment! Of course, we enjoyed the Sicilian beaches, sea, Etna and other elements in the environment inclduding nice restaurants, as most people would do during their summer holidays. The rooms where okay for us as a family with 2 kids, not very special, but definitely up to our needs. Oh, we where outside all day anyway!We needed a little help with a flat tire on my kid's wheelchair and really everybody stepped up to help. Guys, you're the greatest! If you're ever around in the Netherlands, you're more than welcome to drop bySo, what really will stick to our minds is the lovely staff, from receptionists to kitchen personel, from waiter to maintenance people, everybody did their best and much more to make our stay unforgettable.
