    Avoid staying at Villa d’Amato Hotel.This hotel is extremely outdated, dirty, and poorly maintained. When we arrived, there was an unused cigarette left directly on one of the beds and two used water bottles from previous guests still sitting in the room. Clearly the room was not cleaned properly before check-in. The bathroom smelled like a sewer the entire stay, and the half-door shower design caused water to spray everywhere across the bathroom floor.The customer service was even worse than the cleanliness. We politely brought the cigarette and dirty room issues to the front desk, and instead of apologizing, the long-haired male employee told us it “wasn’t a big deal” and kept making excuses for the cleaning staff. He acted like we were overreacting and gave us attitude the entire conversation. He reluctantly mentioned switching rooms, but clearly did not want to help. When he finally told us which room to move to, we walked in and found housekeeping still cleaning it at almost 6 PM.The AC did not work at all. Because the room was unbearably hot, we had no choice but to sleep with the balcony/door open. There were no screens, so I got completely eaten alive by mosquitoes all night.The walls are also paper thin and you can hear any and everything.Overall, this hotel felt dirty, poorly managed, and unprofessional. Between the filthy room, broken AC, rude staff, and lack of accountability, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I would absolutely not recommend staying here.     For its 3 star rating the hotel is really good.The breakfasts are really plain, the dinners vary everyday. Honourable mention to the waiter Michele (for dinners) who always brings amazing energy to the guests.

    Well constant traffic all night . Room smelled like paint . Was hot as hell when I walked in . Food was not good . Constant scraping of furniture on the floor and when I complained to the front desk . The long haired full bearded guy had a major attitude about it . Then people were going in and out of the door by the elevator . This place needs to be shut down and forgotten about . You will not be happy staying here

    Ummmm not sure where to begin. On arrival the coldest most un welcoming reception staff. Strictly robotic. No warm greeting. Rooms are OK. Needs a fresh lick of paint. Clean to a certain degree. Cleaners were wonderful kind and smiley. Wish the reception staff were like this. Stay away from the food. Do not book half board. Embarrassing. Never in my life would i thought i would have experienced such vile awful pasta in Sicily. Then to add insult a bowl of green leaves for a salad. No cucumber no tomatoes. Just green leave. We unfortunately had to check out 2 days in and headed into the city centre. Opposite is a hostel with continous ambulances making their presence known. Overall a one star if that.

    A wonderful hotel! It’s located not far from Palermo, just 10 minutes by bus. The breakfast is delicious. It’s very clean, and they even cleaned the room the day after check-in. Many thanks to Laura at the reception. She helped with everything and was very responsive❤️
