Location

The hotel is situated a few metres from the historical centre of Taormina and a stone's throw from the main street (Corso Umberto), the congress centre (Palazzo dei Congressi) and the Greek Theatre. It overlooks the Bay of Naxos, the Mount Etna volcano, the public gardens and tennis courts. The Corvaja Palace is around 100 m away. Guests can reach the Paradise Beach Club at Letojanni or the coast at Mazzaro in about 10 minutes by car. The Duca di Cesarò park is about 30 m from the hotel, and shops on Corso Umberto can be reached in around 10 minutes on foot. The Interbus station is about 200 m from the hotel, and the Taormina-Giardini train station is roughly 2 km away. Catania-Fontanarossa Airport is about 45 km from the hotel.

    Hotel could not have been more accommodating offering us a choice of three rooms (all with stunning view of Mount Etna). Great location next to the lovely public gardens, the perfect place to escape the crowds and enjoy the views. Room clean and quiet with fridge and kettle, tea bags etc. All staff very helpful. Extremely generous breakfast buffet that we enjoyed each morning. Another highlight was our evening drink on the hotel rooftop enjoying spectacular views towards the Greek theatre.

    Amazing views! Excellent breakfast in top floor dining room with amazing views and (when possible) open windows. The top floor room also served as a bar in the evening with extravagant nibbles included. Excellent staff. Large, comfortable lobby. On the edge of the town, so a bit of a walk uphill to the main street. Weird elevator, but very efficient. And, the best shower of our 6 hotels on this trip. Highly recommended.

    This hotel has been family-owned since 1895, and you can feel the difference the moment you check in! An amazing experience from beginning to end. The breakfast is extraordinary, with everything freshly made. Marla, Carmelo, Giuseppe, and Luca all go out of their way to make you feel like royalty.The view from our room, 333, was absolutely amazing, and the room itself was very comfortable. We can’t wait to bring our daughter here someday!Thank you for being such a special part of our celebration. We are taking home wonderful memories and will carry all of you in our hearts.
