  I stayed a night only on my 3 days in this crap hole! Dirty! Bugs in the room and music blaring untill 3:30am! I would highly recommend not even thinking of staying here.

  This place needs some TLC! Chipped paint on exterior walls and broken sidewalks and steps into the bungalows. Ants in our room, mold in the shower and on shower curtain, dead bugs on the shower walls, dirty hand print on the shower wall from the maintenance man who had to unclog the shower drain (he unplugged it on day one..we left on day three and the handprint is still there even after housekeeping cleaned the room…TWICE!!) every time we flushed the toilet it sounded like a tugboat was going through the room. The door to enter and exit did not close all the way so we were swatting bugs throughout the night. We complained and they offered us two different rooms. They were in the same condition. We stated that we were going to find another hotel because of the ant issue and the uncleanliness and they said all they would do for us is offer a voucher for our next visit. If I'm complaining now and nothing is getting done why would they think that I would even consider coming back?!?!?We have to admit that this was the nicest beach we have seen so far in Italy, the only problem is that they consider it a public beach also. With saying that, it’s first come first serve for what chairs you get. I feel seeing I’m vacationing and renting at this facility that clearly states that we have beach access (even though they charge you for your chairs and umbrella) that the people staying at the facility should have first dibs on beach chairs.

  1 Hour is the time we lasted actually staying here. upon arrival it was a challenge to actually locate the reception building, once found we entered a smoke smelling room to be greeted by a nice woman who checked us in and took us to our rooms. The walk to the rooms gave an eerie feeling of the "village" as there was really no one around. As for the rooms themselves, I had to immediately go back to find the woman as my entire rooms floor was covered in hundreds of dead insects and in fairness the woman immediately gave me a new room which wasn't much better (she also didn't seem very surprised or overly apologetic). The bed was like concrete and the door did not touch the door frame when shut, posing quite the security issue. Whilst i was dealing with my room my father had gone for a brief look around to find that the neighboring bar was fully shut and the beach was mid way being bulldozed? We both agreed we did not want to stay here so we booked a new hotel in the city and ran for it. I strongly would not recommend. As for the constant plane noises yes they are very very loud but if you booked this place seeing its at the end of a runway and not expecting it that's just on you.

  Nice beach but loud club

  The cabins are basic but OK. It's only a few minutes to the beach. And a fairly short, easy bus ride into the city. There is a restaurant on site.However, several nights of the week there is a terrible club next door that plays very loud, awful music all night. It's a shame but that ruins the place for me.

  We stayed here end of May 2023 to first week in June. We stayed in a beach bungalow which has a lovely view as is located directly on the beach. The draw backs of this is the sand does get everywhere and the noise of the planes going over as so close to the airport is very disruptive. The TV didnt work and the shower made the whole floor completely wet.The breakfast was very basic no hot food there was cereal, juices, croissants, bread, ham, cheese, cold hard boiled eggs and yogurts available. Resturant on site was not open at lunch times when we looked a few times during the stay as previously advertised. The food in evening was very nice and staff were so friendly and helpful however most of them didnt speak English. The worst part about the stay here other than how loud planes were was the club next door afro club who had some sort of festival that went on all night playing the loudest music it was by far the most irritating experience of my life. 3 am went past and there was no let up to noise levels and no one to complain too. We came on this holiday to relax and it has been completely ruined by this rave at this club blasting techno music for hours on end as well as drunk locals standing around outside the rooms making noise. There was no warning about this before hand or we would not of stayed here. Buses were very in frequent which made it hard to get around the bus stop however is located right outside hotel but they are supposed to run around every 40 mins doesnt appear to be the case they more like run every hour to hour and half which makes it extremely difficult to get around. There are lots of restaurants close by which is handy and lidl in walking distance but not possible to walk to catania central as the roads run out of pavement. The stay here would of be alot higher had there not been this noisy club next door having all night parties. But this is not a family orientated place its very run down needs lots of renovation. Not much to do for children.
