This family-friendly hotel is located in the province of Messina, near the North motorway to the city of Messina. The centre of Villafranca Tirrena is just 1 km from the beach hotel, where guests will find numerous shops and a bus station. Restaurants and links to the public transport network are to be found in the immediate vicinity and the nearest beach is just a 5-minute walk away. The city of Messina is a 10-minute drive from the business hotel. Catania-Fontanarossa airport is 92 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 42 rooms, including 4 junior suites, 10 single rooms and 24 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Horrendous hotel ,none of the facilities promised,no bar ,no gym,no restaurant,no air conditioning,no sauna .We had a horrific stay ,this hotel it is NOT in Messina as stated but miles outside.poorly staffed,hotel rundown,smashed windows and no facilities nearby.There is a motorway at the back ,we were locked out the hotel at 21.30 !!!

    Nothing like the pictures at all. No hot water upon nighttime arrival, it was however hot in the morning. Air conditioning just made noise, didn’t cool. No breakfast as promised, no coffee! Lobby smells like cigarettes. Bed was hard as a rock! Do not stay here.

    i liked this hotel it’s a little bit out the way but i liked that everyone there where very friendly especially maria at the front desk she spoke good english and would help you a lot and recommend places to visit she is a great asset to this hotel.     This was awful! It's inaccurately rated and is NOT a B&B and there is NO restaurant. Yet, they claim to have amenities and over charged an outrageous 4* room rate per night but provided no food or dining services, or accommodations. And, worst of all, without my authorization or knowledge, they charged my credit card the full amount of our reservation the day after we had arrived and then refused to refund the money so we couldn't leave and were stuck there. They do not have the amenities or provide services listed on their website, and photos posted are from years ago. Those accommodations DID NOT EXIST and WERE NOT AVAILABLE. It is "false advertisement" and is not an accurate depiction of what actually existed. Here is a list of “lack” of amenities: There was NO TELEPHONE Service and NO working phones in any of the rooms which is a safety hazard. There is NO RESTAURANT; NO wait-staff; NO dining room; NO room service; NO SPA; NO GYM; NO business center; NO balcony or lounge chairs in the rooms; NO outdoor seating, terrace or garden area; mini frig DID NOT WORK; NO water/soda in the mini frig; NO ice machine; NO laundry or dry-cleaning service. The exterior building was dirty, dark, dingy and dilapidated; NO lights on the building at night; NO lighted marquis; the property grounds are un-kept and unappealing; NO manicured landscaping; it's in a deserted area off of a 2-way street; NO accommodations to access the beach; NO activities or entertainment offerings; the lobby had 2 sofas and rooms, beds, TVs and shower stalls were small; they had a few dining tables/chairs in their lobby; NO TV in the lobby; and they had a "cold" set up of a few items for their breakfast-NO hot breakfast, NO fresh fruit, NO brioche, minimum selection of items to choose from, many were packaged crackers, a tort or cake, and they charged 2.50 euro for cappuccinos, which weren't even hot or prepared correctly! And many other people were complaining to staff and at the front desk while we were there. Completely incompetent management and the owner and manager are inept, rude, unprofessional and were not available to discuss all these problems at their hotel. It was supposed to be a special family vacation for our senior citizen parents but instead was an awful experience for our family!

    If you like a seaview with 90% motorway and a hotel without staff after 11:30pm, this is the hotel for you!

    Where do I begin? Most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept on in a long time. They say they have access to wifi but this is only available in the reception and even then it barely works. Every staff member I spoke to (bar one) came across as uninterested and rude. Ignored at breakfast and had to go routing around in draws to find my own cutlery. When I challenged this, the member of staff suggested it was because they were busy with other restaurant customers. Impressive given we were the only people eating then (maybe that should have been our first hint).We were told that after 11:30pm we would need to use a spare key to get back into the hotel. This doesn’t exactly seem safe. After this time, there is nobody in reception and no clear instructions as to how to get a hold of someone in case of an emergency. Again, doesn’t seem very safe. When I went to the staff with my complaints they became standoffish and rude. I asked to speak to a manager and got the reply “we don’t have a manager”. Continually rude and abrasive and at that point we left and chose another hotel.Avoid at all costs
