Attention tourists- control the prices of wine

After enjoying Tre Rose wine at a restaurant, I went to the cantina to buy a case of wine to take back to Le Marche. I speak fluent Italian with an American accent. At the Cantina I was told “We don’t sell wine today. You can try our point of sale nearby.” Odd. Never heard of a winery that doesn’t sell wine. I ventured to Borgo Tre Rose and found the same wine I drank in a restaurant for €6 a glass / €28 a bottle and sells online for €15-18at a cost of €38. I opted not to purchase but am confused why a winery would send me to a sales point that charges such excessive costs. When I commented about the price to the girl working she snickered. I certainly hope it wasn’t the company’s intent to overcharge me because I speak with an accent.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our Tuscan honeymoon, and it was our favourite hotel. Beautiful views, the pool is delightful (open from May), we got a free room upgrade and appreciated the space. We highly recommend the Tuscan cooking class, it was great fun and with one of their actual chefs! The food overall was delicious, a different set menu every evening is great value for money or ordering from the menu is also an option,The staff are the real stars of this place, and make an effort to remember who you are. Location is great, although not in central Tuscany it’s good for the south region exploring, you need to hire a car for access but plenty of parking.

This place fulfilled all our hopes and made a dream come true. This place was a gem and an oasis during the heatwave. Could not imagine so perfect a place with a harmonious setting for a beautiful wedding outside. Tuscany landscape with most beautiful sunsets. Nice apartments, helpful and good service throughout the stay. Nice restaurant with reasonable prices. And the meals were tasty. Could not think of a better start for the day than the diverse breakfast offering the most beautiful scenery. The pool of course was one of the best oasis for the younger generation and even for the older part of the group. Good opportunities for sports people. Plenty of attractions in the vicinity. Good wines and wineries. Best if you have rented a car. Of course taxi works too butbit is expensive. Thank you for offering us this all. Will certainly come again. High recommendation for everyone seeking a relaxed vacation in Tuscany.
