  We booked a standard apartment with a view but were given a studio. We showed the owner (who lives on the premises) our paperwork but he wouldn't give us the room we had paid for instead we were put in a basement studio with one tiny window. It was very dark and depressing and the furniture and fixtures / fittings were very old, very tired and very shabby. There was an infestation of rather large beetles in both the bathroom and kitchen area and the shower dripped all night. To make matters even worse we found a smelly, dirty mans sock between the head of the mattress and the wall just inches from our heads.This place was full of guests but only because of the location and nearness to Montepulciano etc, we suspect it would be a lot less busy if it were judged on its decor and standards of cleanliness. The owner didn't seem to care about quality, he was just packing them in!We wouldn't ever stay there again even if it was completely free of charge!!

  A rustic Tuscany retreat with a lovely pool

  We had a lower ground apartment, quite dark inside however very clean, lovely pool and terrece over looking masses of vineyards...also very close to some amazing towns to visit . The owner was friendly and helpful

  Beautiful views of Countryside, short drive to town. We could not find parking anywhere near any of the surrounding hill towns due to a holiday. Nice pool, my husband went for a swim. Apartments vary in size, we had a studio. A bit cave like, no windows had to keep door open for air, but very nicely decorated. Kitchen very limited utensils. Bed was terrible...rubber mattress cover and flat pancake pillows, showerhead not too good, but overall we liked our three nights here.

  Breathtaking view of the Tuscan landscape in the fall, great host, property with state-of-the art facilities

  I went there with my wife and a friend. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. The landscape design and facilities for outdoor are outstanding (various terraces, grill places, swimming pool) which makes me think the spring and summer stay there must be also great.Luca is a splendid host, always available. One of the reason of the trip was to acquire some larger quantity of wine and olive oil (we drove over there from Prague) and he was instrumental in making all these arrangements.We plan to repeat this experience each year in the Fall - it was well above expectations.

  Splendid stay in the heart of Tuscany

  Splendid residence situated in the middle of picturesque Tuscan countryside. A bit hard to find, but the small country roads leading to it are a delight to travel. We had the largest appartment, a 2 BR suite, and it's very comfortable with a large kitchen and a patio opening to the large swimming pool. The supermarket is not too far away in Montepulciano, the closest tuscan city with an historic center. The 2BR suite is perfect for two couples and kids travelling together. From the hotel garden, the views to the Tuscan hills are simply gorgeous. The owner, Luca, is friendly and helpfull and free wi-fi is available and fast.
