    Most beautiful place in Italy

    The location is breath taking. The staff was absolutely amazing. My husband and I were previously in Rome & Naples and this hotel was by far the friendliest and had the most scenic views of the beautiful area of Siena. Every employee went above and beyond our expectations. You must go to the bar and converse with our now dear friend Lucas!!

    This hotel is amazing. Staying there for the second time and it’s just wonderful. Really good rates and usually offer free breakfast and free parking and free cancellation. The 7th floor terrace over looks the hills of Tuscany. It’s a great place to stay to venture out for day trips to Tuscan towns.

    I highly recommend Hotel Athena. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, particularly Serena, who recommended and booked some excellent restaurants for us. Rooms were comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, and the location is great. There’s also a roof top bar with beautiful views of Siena and the Tuscan countryside. I hope to come back!

    Physical plant lovely.Staff is not. They are mostly unfriendly and not helpful or considerate.Food at breakfast Buffett is shockingly bad (!) particularly for Italy.     Decent, friendly hotel in Siena, Italy

    Within the historic district and within walking distance from the Campo and Duomo. Parking in the hotel, really convenient. Friendly and helpful reception. Basic room, bit dated and average in terms of comfort, but clean and bed of reasonable quality. Breakfast in a somewhat cavy room but of a solid standard.
