    Beautiful Place and Great Hotel

    We have recently returned from a holiday to San Gimignano staying at the Hotel le Colline nearby, we stayed for a week with group of friends. I feel I must leave a review as we were made extremely welcome by all the staff and family members of the Hotel.Nothing was too much trouble, our rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything you would require, breakfast was lovely, and the family restaurant that we ate at twice had a great menu and excellent food. We also took advantage of the wine tasting which was organised just for our group and had a very personal touch which we all enjoyed. The swimming pool was great and described by one of our group as “cheeky livener to kick start your day”.Overall we had a great trip made especially memorable by the hospitality of the le Colline staff and family.Many thanks Paul Albergo Le colline, Direttore generale at Hotel Le Colline, responded to this review Thank you Paul for the nice words you have said about our structure and our staff, it is very important to us.     Good cost benefit, but nothing memorable about it

    This is a non remarkable hotel. Everything is just ok -- rooms, breakfast, the place, etc. The girls at the reception are outstanding (my regards to Valentina). It is located a few km from the city and if you are an early bird you can find a non paid spot to spend the day in town. But as an experience there is not much to remember about it.

    We had a wonderful time at this really nice hotel. From the very beginning of the reservation I felt that communitation was very easy with the staff. Nice location, good prices, clean and huge rooms. We had the one overlooking to the hills. Wonderful breakfast! Alessia and all the other colleagues were amazingly helpful!     Such a warm welcome!

    We stopped here on the off chance of getting a lunchtime snack and a cooling drink when we took a wrong turn looking for car parking in San Gimignano.We met, Alessia and she could not possibly have been any kinder to us.She served us a delicious lunch, recommended sandwich fillings and encouraged us to taste the red wine made from their vines.... we did...... it was beautiful. She showed us one of the vineyards and also gave us a map with detailed instructions of how to find a car park when we set off again to San Gimiango.When we saw the beautiful setting and experienced the friendly service we decided that if we return to this area in future, we'd love to stay here. Thank you Alessia for turning a frustrating time into a happy time.. you're a lovely young lady.     Worth a stop on our way

Breakfast is more than excellent, plenty of choice. Coffee from the vending machine is also very good, they are usually desperate. The hotel also has a swimming pool, which we did not use. The restaurant for dinner is next to the hotel. I recommend booking a table because there are so many guests. The food was great. The service was also very good. Worth a stop on our way.
