    Lovely Hotel good size rooms with comfy Bed, good bathroom and shower, staff very helpful,and friendly, though the bar was only open from 5.00pm, and was understocked, the complimentary breakfast was excellent. The only issue was the restricted transport system, and expensive parking. Other than that, a good experience.

    Good - Great room with fantastic views, great bed and linen, good shower and wonderful towels. Excellent car park in the middle of SienaBad - Staff. Most were unfriendly if not surly. The man at breakfast was plain rude and the staff serving at the very basic bar in the evening also miserable as they had to alternate between reception and the bar.Budget - everything about the hotel feels like they are trying to save money (not what you want when you pay €200 per night!) There were no lights turned on in the common areas so absolutely no atmosphere. Common areas looking very tired. The breakfast was extremely basic. Mini bar was empty but my real gripe is that you get one small bottle of water per person for the first night which is not replenished - you can buy another one from reception at €2 which is an absolute disgrace.Such a shame as it could be (maybe has been) a lovely hotel but they really need to sort out some of the hospitality basics. We would not stay here again.

    STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THE STAFF ARE RUDE

    Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing due to the behavior of the staff, particularly the manager, Francesca, who was rude, unprofessional, and misleading regarding a ZTL (restricted traffic zone) issue.Before arriving in Siena, we messaged the hotel to ask how to register our car for ZTL access, as it was our first visit to the city. The staff clearly replied: “Come to the hotel and we will register your car.”However, upon arrival, we were told we had entered through the wrong gate and would receive a fine. The receptionist then gave us incorrect directions to the parking area, causing unnecessary confusion. No one informed us that there was a 30-minute limit to find parking—something that can lead to an additional fine.The next morning, I spoke in person with Francesca, the manager, who admitted she could not assist with the first fine but promised to resolve the 30-minute issue with the local authorities. Later, after we left the hotel, her tone changed completely in email correspondence. She denied making any such statements and sent very rude and offensive messages, even making an inappropriate remark referencing the USA.I am attaching screenshots of the hotel’s messages as proof. The tone and attitude displayed were unacceptable, disrespectful, and borderline discriminatory toward tourists simply trying to enjoy Siena.The stress and frustration this hotel caused us will not be forgotten. While the location is great, the staff’s behavior ruins the experience.

    A wonderful Tuscan experience

    This hotel far far exceeded our expectations.Wonderful warm welcome and gracious Italian hospitality from everyone. Lovely, hearty complimentary breakfast every morning.The moment you entered your room you felt an amazing experience - all the modern comforts with all the original features - beautiful old ceiling and fireplace with a window that opened to a charming garden and unforgetable Tuscan views! Our second day was rainy and cloudy - truly magical views of the Tuscan valleys and distant mountains.The room was spacious and impeccably clean with extremely comfy bedding.On the edge of the old city walls - the hotel is so so quiet and peaceful - just open the windows and soak in the Tuscan life! Within 10 minutes easy stroll you are at the Duomo and main square and countless authentic Tuscan restaurants. Also an easy bus ride to San Gimignano.Tuscany is a must visit for anyone and Hotel Ravizza will make your stay memorable!

    Thank you for an unforgetable 3 night stay at the hotel.Our experience far exceeded our expectations. One of the most charming hotels we stayed in - amazing views, so peaceful and quiet yet so close to the centre of everything.Room was exceptionally clean and everything we needed. Excellent breakfast and warm Italian hospitality from all staff.Can't wait to return.
