    Hotel Ascot, A good stay.

    Great location in Sorrento. Hotel is a little dated but clean. Room was a good dize with good aircon. Clean swimming pool and lovely patio area. Drink and food at hotel are reasonably priced. You pay for food and drink at the end of your stay. Would recomend.

    Noisy , don’t expect to sleep especially if you’re in room 602 it’s under the pool and beside the pool pump house and beer garden

    visited in 2008 lovely family run Hotel. Just got back home may 2026.Lovely friendly helpful staff nothing too much trouble. Food fabulous tasty and filling. Nice clean rooms. Good pool area and my favourite the rooftop sun area.Handy to walk down to the marina for the ferry. Train and bus station round the corner.Denise & Kevin Atkin 118.

    The location was superb at the end of the main street through Sorrento and a short walk to two good restaurants and convenient for the ferry and the train station as well as Sorrento generally. Stayed here through Jet2, excellent by the way, first class organisation there and back. Requested a quiet room at the back which partially looked at the pool area which sadly we couldn't get around to using and it was ideal. Yes it was all rather old fashioned. And I was especially amused by a framed certificate proudly proclaiming a Thomson Gold Award from 1995 in the lounge. The shower was one of the most powerful ever and the bathroom was clean and bright. The bed was certainly comfortable enough for us and the buffet breakfast was great. Set us up for the day and powered us through most of a day sightseeing. The staff were lovely. It was small simple and quiet and suited us.

    This hotel is in a great location as the town center is right outside the door. The room I stayed in was from the 1950s. Floor was dirty, cobwebs on the walls, pictures on walls were water stained, beds were very hard and so old. They must have hired a brilliant photographer because the rooms look nothing like their online photos. They did have a beautiful garden area lit up with plenty of tables to sit at. I was with a group of people and nobody could believe this was a four star hotel. I don’t even know if it deserves 1 star. I just felt gross after spending the night here.
