Location

The hotel is surrounded by lemon and olive groves, 800 m from the picturesque Puolo Beach. It overlooks the beautiful Bay of Sorrento, with views of Capri Island and Mount Vesuvius. It is only 3 km away from the town centre, Sorrento, with restaurants, shops and bars.

Facility

2 junior suites and 56 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include medical assistance, room service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. Travellers with bicycles can make use of the on-site bicycle storage area.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a breakfast room and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. For lunch and dinner, guests can order à la carte.     We are currently staying at this hotel. It is not a four star hotel. The hotel runs along the lines that hotel guests conform and do what the hotel management tell them to do. We arrived yesterday at lunchtime after being up since 3am for an early morning flight. We were ushered into a lounge area for what was described as a welcome meeting. Bemused we complied. Nothing happened. We were given complimentary juice or prosecco but were politely told we could not have a beer as that was not complimentary. Why bother with offering drinks if you are not prepared to give someone what they prefer? We then sat and waited and waited and waited. Nothing happened. Eventually I went to the reception and asked how long did we have to sit waiting as I wanted to check in and get on with my day. We were then advised we could check in. We did but were told the rooms would not be ready for another hour. If they had told us that on arrival we could have taken the shuttle bus into Sorrento and had some lunch. We asked about lunch options. We were sent to a large dining room with one person in it but were told where to sit. We were not given a choice or offered an alternative place to eat lunch - eg the outside terrace. Lunch was a salad which was very nice. In the evening we we were told where we had to sit in the dining room and told we had to sit there every night for the duration of our stay. This is not ok. On our table was a printed notice. The notice says we must accept the hotel’s policy to only start preparing each course once the previous course has been completed. This means you have long waits between courses and drags out dinner. The choice of food is limited. We ordered swordfish for our mains. It came covered in grease and there was only a few sauteed potatoes as an accompaniment. We did not bother with dessert. The salad first course was self service but at 8pm was much depleted and uninspiring. We have a dated room. Spacious enough but old fashioned and without a walk in shower.The hotel staff are stiff and formal. The hotel is dead at night and completely dull and boring. We are trapped here for another six nights. Do not stay here unless you want to be told by the hotel what you will have not want you want. Also read the general manager’s responses to complaints or poor reviews from past guests. His responses tell you everything about how this hotel is run and managed.

    A lovely friendly hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. The staff can’t do enough to help. Good food at breakfast and dinner.Tips•Use the free hotel shuttle bus. The taxi and Ubers want to charge €40+ from the main square even though only about 4km. The shuttle bus drops you off a 5 minutes walk away from the main square. Go down the steps by the bus stop and follow the road down the hill. Just ask the driver if unsure. •You may need different travel adaptors as there is only one EU socket, the rest are 3 straight prongs (Italy type L). Some two pins do work but not all.•The hotel will transport your bags up and down the drive for your transport from the airport.•If you order a bottle of wine for dinner and don’t finish it they will save it for the next day.•They do not serve food between 3pm and 6:45pm which can be an issue if your arrival time is delayed as there are no shops or restaurants nearby. •We had an early departure and the hotel even started the breakfast service early for us.•All the Tui excursion coaches pick you up by the main road at the end of the drive.•The hotel can organise days out eg boat trips to CapriThe pool was heated in April and plenty of sun loungers are available.We would definitely stay here again if we visit Sorrento again.     A lovely hotel, location just too secluded!

    The setting is beautiful and the staff are most welcoming and friendly. The rooms were spotlessly clean but decoration felt dated. We had a side sea view but balcony was in the shade at all times so it was too cold to use. The pool and sun deck were fantastic, obviously never very busy being the very beginning of the season. Pool bar only opened half way through the week and snack bar remained closed. Lunch was available in the restaurant with a fairly limited menu. (Pizza 15 euros, cheeseburger 18 euros etc, bruschetta 10 euros etc.) Continental breakfast buffet was good for choice. Dinner was a three course meal which always included a regional option. Food was always fine, some nights were better than others. The gala dinner did last in excess of 2 hours though! The location, though beautiful, was far too remote. The shuttle into Sorrento was only once an hour, so trips into town had to be carefully coordinated. A taxi would cost around 35 euros to get into town or return to the hotel.     Coeliac honeymoon! Wonderful

    We had the most wonderful honeymoon here and truly can’t recommend it enough.From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome and genuinely cared for. What stood out the most was the incredible attention to detail and the warmth of the entire team, who went above and beyond to make our stay special.As someone who is coeliac, I often find travelling and dining stressful—but not here. The range of gluten-free options was fantastic, and I felt completely safe and confident eating every meal. Plates clearly labelled with blue rings or menu adjusted specifically for me, being both coeliac and vegetarian. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and always happy to accommodate, which made a huge difference and allowed me to fully relax and enjoy the experience.Every part of our stay felt thoughtfully looked after—from delicious dinners and amazing desserts to great wine recommendations and fun, memorable moments with the team. It’s rare to find a place where you feel so well taken care of on every level.Shuttle bus every hour made it extremely convenient for travel into Sorrento centre and numerous excursions all direct transport from hotel doorstep.
