    This wonderful hotel is welcoming, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. But the thing which makes this hotel great, is the staff! Stefano, Andrea and a 3rd guy on reception whose name I didn't get, are all so welcoming, friendly and helpful, providing us with local information and advice. And the ladies in the breakfast room always greated us with a happy 'buongiorno.'It was my birthday during our stay there and I'd asked if I could pre-order a couple of Mimosas for breakfast; they arranged this for me, complimentary, and a few of the staff acknowledged my birthday throughout the day, which was really nice!This was our 2nd visit to this hotel and it won't be our last. If you're looking for a hotel with a personal touch, where you are a guest, and not just a customer, then I can absolutely recommend The Britannia.

    Excellent Hotel - Highly Recommended! My sister and I have just returned from a lovely one week holiday in Sorrento. Our hotel was the Britannia Hotel and it was an extremely fortunate choice.The staff were all really friendly and made us feel very welcome.The fact that we were upgraded to a room with a second, much larger, outdoor seating area was a fantastic cherry on the top of a brilliant cake. The hotel is very well placed for the town and, although there is a public bus stop immediately outside the hotel, it is a very pleasant and not at all challenging walk into the centre. Rooms are very clean and quite spacious. Cleanly decorated and beds very comfortable. There are clearly very many hotels in the Sorrento area, but from my experience, I suspect the majority will not be as welcoming and friendly as The Britannia

    We stayed in the garden view room 3 weeks ago. The room was perfect, lovely and clean with all the facilities you need for an enjoyable stay. The staff were very friendly and were always on hand to assist your every need. The breakfast was adequate to set you up for the day. The coffee made by the staff using the espresso machine was fabulous. The walk into town was quite easy for us and we are in our middle sixties. The first 100 yards does not have a footpath but if you pay attention to the traffic it is fine. We have been to Sorrento 3 times and this hotel has been the best. Next time we are in Sorrento we will definitely use this hotel. Wonderful stay wonderful staff.

    Absolutely wonderful staff! Every staff member was kind to us throughout our stay which we really appreciated. Very friendly and courteous. Our room was spacious, great air-con, clean and bright. We loved staying at this hotel and highly recommend. Thank you for a brilliant stay.

    Fantastic stay at Hotel Britannia

    This is the third year in a row that we have stayed here it is a amazing hotel wit great staff. Very clean and plenty to choose from at breakfast. A bus stops right outside the hotel to take you down to the town. We have known Stefano for a number of years he makes your stay a great one, and we hope to come back soon
