Location

This hotel is situated on the cliff above the sea, on the Sant'Agnello coast. It is surrounded by orange and lemon trees and set above the marina of Sant’Agnello. It is a few minutes' walk from the centre and overlooks the whole length of the Bay of Naples.

    We stayed here for my wedding week with all my family and friends. Not only was the hotel staff accommodating, friendly and kind.. the hotel itself is beautiful and clean. We all had the best time here and I would highly recommend anyone coming to Sorrento to stay here. They offer bus transport to and from the city center which is amazing and so it’s nice being on this beautiful corner, that’s a little quieter right on the outskirts of the city. Truly a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to hopefully go back one day!

    Yes…the Hotel has an amazing view and the staff is welcoming…BUT, the location lacks the small things which make a hotel outstanding, *The hotel provides (1) small bottle of water PER STAY per ROOM. If you would like a bottle per person, or more than one small bottle per sty, you are advised to purchase it from your mini bar OR purchase water from the lobby bar. At $600 per night, i do not feel a complimentary bottle or water per person per day is too much to ask. *The coffee in the room is instant Nescafé. This is our fourth city visited in Italy and every other hotel provided a Nespresso machine in the room. Again, not too much to ask. *The hotel has a relationship with a tour company to visit Capri and the Amalfi Coast. What they fail to advise you is their tour company takes you by bus to a location one hour away rather than the local marina which is ten minutes away. Every guest we spoke to made the similar assumption you would be departing from the local marina. When brought to the hotels attention, the answer was “yes but the drive is beautiful”. Maybe…but the guest should make the decision on whether they wish to ride a bus for an hour in each direction.*On our last day, we were enjoying the view from our balcony when we were suddenly drenched with water. It seems the staff decided to wash the roof of the glass atrium above us at 1pm without checking if anyone was on their patio. When brought to the attention of three front desk, we were told “No worries”. Huh??There are many hotels in Sorrento with spectacular views…try one of them!
