    Good location and affordable, but deplorable service

    Affordable and located in a nice small local town that is just a boat away from all of the major stops along the Amalfi coast. However, that is where the positives end. The receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful when we arrived, and took a phone call in the middle of our check-in to give out about us in Italian. Not English-speaking friendly. Pictures are deceiving as there is nowhere to sit, they do not serve food and there is nowhere to eat food if you decide to get some yourself. The rooms did not have a table, and because the hotel is right beside the road it was extremely loud at night. I would recommend this 'hotel' if you were looking for a beautiful and convenient location on a budget, but everything else leaves a lot to be desired.

    Loud but Great Value Stay

    The hotel offers superb value for a stay on the Amalfi Coast, and its reasonable price reflects the experience. We had read about the noise in previous reviews, but it turned out to be more significant than we anticipated. The hotel is located within a hairpin turn on the Amalfi Coast highway in Minori, with the Minori bus stop right at its front door. Despite all of us being heavy sleepers, the constant noise from cars, buses, motorcycles, mopeds, and honking throughout the night was unavoidable. While this is not the hotel's fault at all, upgrading from single pane glass to better soundproof windows would mitigate the issue.The hotel itself, it is dated, but the owner at the front desk was incredibly kind and friendly. She provided us with valuable recommendations for restaurants and markets within Minori. The room was also dated but impeccably clean. The shower was small but typical due to the dated nature. However, the room was functional, and the beds were comfortable. The highlight was the large private balcony with a city/sea view.Breakfast is not served on the hotel property but at a cafe down the street. Despite this, the breakfast was delightful, offering one pastry and one coffee of your choice.Overall, considering the hotel's price and its superbly convenient location, it's a phenomenal value option, just note the potential noise factor during the night.

    Place needs a refurb!

    I had the chance to stay at Hotel Europa in Minori, and while the location was the only positive aspect, the overall experience left much to be desired. Despite the great location, the stay was marred by poor customer service. The room itself was dated and in need of repairs, with a blocked shower drain being a notable issue. Damaged toilet door and stained bedsheets. Requesting an iron proved futile as they didn't have one available. There was a smell of cigarettes smoke in the corridors. The receptionist's attitude was disappointing; she made unnecessary comments about our documentation and during check-out, she seemed disinterested and even took the key from us mid-conversation to answer a phone call. While I understand the higher cost due to the stunning Amalfi Coast location, paying 100 euros for the night didn't seem justified given the overall experience. Regrettably, I wouldn't consider returning to this establishment if given the chance.

    Actually our stay at hotel Europa was surprisingly good! Clean , ok rooms with 4 beds for 3 people. Balcony,nice distance to everywheare. Busstop right there. Budget prise . We had nothing to compalain. If it was my hotel i would change some of the receptions furniture and make it more inviting.Thank you for hotel staff!

    The establishment is OLD and dated. Lady at the desk was not friendly and threw out passports at us. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. The comforter had two strands of hair. Sheets appeared clean. Both my arms fell asleep which is not common for me. Shower was a joke. Not sure if this type of shower is in all the rooms but shower was in the middle of a galley type bathroom and you had to step inside the shower to get to the toliet. If you have a few extra pounds on you, you might not fit in the shower. Extremely noisy. Pictures need to be updated. No breakfast offered. Advertise seaview. No clue where that would be.
