    Above and beyond expectations!

    We spent a week in September 2025 at the Belair hotel in Sorrento. It was a great place to base out of for trips to Pompeii, Herculaneum and the Amalfi Coast towns.The staff get top marks for going above and beyond with all of their service.The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Beyond the usual help with restaurants or taxis, they came to the rescue when I left a blouse at a beach club in Positano where we had gone for the day. They were able to call the club, determine that the club had my blouse and then arranged for someone to bring it back to the hotel for me. I had written it off as a lost cause unless we ferried back to Positano but they really saved the day. The staff in the restaurant was also excellent. Special shout out to Annalise (sp?) who would greet us every morning with a smile and check on what we were up to for the day. Others were also very friendly and helpful.The housekeeping was exceptional. They came in twice a day and got the room in tip top shape.The location is exquisite with views towards the town and over to Vesuvius. We had a lovely patio to sit and watch all the boat traffic in the bay. The one thing that would have made it even better is a shuttle or some sort of transport up from Marina Grande where the “beach” access is. And also to and from the town. We walked into town daily and it was fine but there were some days when we had just walked enough and had to take a taxi or bus. Obviously, that is doable but a shuttle car would have been a nice touch. Hotel B, at Hotel Belair Sorrento, responded to this review It was a pleasure having you with us, and you are welcome back anytime.

    Our retreat from the busy crowds of capri and positano

    A perfect escape from the busy crowds of Positano and Capri. After a few days in Positano, we came here to unwind—and from the moment we checked in, we knew it was something special. The staff was incredibly attentive, helping with every question and reservation. Breakfast on the patio was delicious, paired with breathtaking views. The pool is truly one of the best we’ve ever experienced—and we’ve stayed at quite a few! Our room was beautiful, with authentic Italian tiles and a genuine charm. Without a doubt, the best view in Sorrento. Highly recommend!

    Amazing Hotel in Sorrento

    Top Notch service, food and views. We felt tight at home with Francesco and crew. The service was amazing and extremely friendly. They booked taxis and car service for us and gave great recommendations for excursions and food. I would 100% stay here again if coming back yo sorrento. The rooms were beautiful and so were the views from the terrace.

    This hotel is FANTASTIC. The service is OUTSTANDING and the location is PERFECT! The view is all of the adjectives above. The breakfast is A+++++ We stayed here as a launch point for all of our day trips throughout the Amalfi Coast. The staff was incredible and set up all of our excursions from Pompeii with private driver and guide, private driver and guide to Positano, Ravello, Amalfi and a private boat to Isle of Capris. We have been to Europe several times and this was the best trip of all. Thank you Hotel Belair.

    The perfect hotel in Sorrento

    We absolutely loved our stay at the Belair in Sorrento. Several years ago I stayed at one of most highly rated hotel right off the Main Square and the Belair completely exceeded that experience in every way possible. Before our arrival, the staff was so accommodating and helpful making sure when we arrived everything was perfect and they made many suggestions for restaurants and excursions. Once we arrived, we were greeted by the welcoming, lovely staff and showed to our room right on the water. The decor was clean, modern with Italian flair. I found myself taking pictures of small details of the hotel from planter boxes to tiles to coffee table books because everything was stunning and thoughtful. We were delighted to have two separate bathrooms as well as a balcony where we could have breakfast overlooking the water. The pool was picturesque. The waiter was so attentive bringing us cold water,drinks lunch whatever we needed. The buffet breakfast was phenomenal and every person that greeted us in the morning remembered our preferences for coffee, egg etc. they all had wonderful energy and could not have been more hospitable. I think this is one of my all-time favorite hotels and I can only dream about the next time we go back to visit. We already miss you!! Thank you so much for making our stay so special! Jen and Brian
