Location

This hotel with sea views is situated in Capo di Sorrento, just a 5-minute drive from the historical centre of Sorrento, the shops, beach and train station. There are links to the public transport network just 5 min away on foot and other nearby towns and cities include Naples (an hour's drive), Positano and Pompei (both 40 min by car), and Amalfi (50 min).

Facility

The apartment hotel was built in 1900. 8 apartments, 8 studios and 10 double rooms are available to guests in a 3-storey main building and an auxiliary building. In the air-conditioned hotel, guests are welcomed in the lobby with 24-hour reception desk and a -hour check-in/check-out service. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, tea/coffee station and oven. A direct dial telephone, a TV and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms include a hairdryer and are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-accessible rooms can also be booked. The hotel has 26 non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool area. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. There is a poolside snack bar as well. The apartment hotel offers hiking.

    Excellent hotel only slight downside is that the hotel is on a fairly busy road apart from that all staff were amazing we had a garden room (401) with a sea view and what a beautiful sight every morning Salvo d'Amore, Proprietario at Hotel Miramare, responded to this review thank you, we are glad you enjoyed Sorrento and Miramare

    Loved loved loved this hotel. The rooms were beautiful and clean, and the views were breathtaking. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We asked to stay another night - needed 2 rooms - and they accommodated us in the middle of a busy summer. We had to move one room, but they moved everything for us. The pool was a great perk. It is a 15 minute walk to town but also a 25 minute walk the other way to Bagno Regina Giovanna (a must see). The breakfast was perfect and they had a bar menu available all day!!! Will stay here again!!

    A gem of a hotel in beautiful sorrento

    Just had a really lovely stay here for 4 nights, hotel is well positioned with about a 20 minute walk into town, as all of this area there are quite a few hills and steps. You do need to be aware of traffic when you cross but this is the same everywhere in sorrento and drivers do seem to be pretty aware of tourists.Hotel is very bright, clean and stylish. Stayed in junior suite on top floor, amazing views and on terrace you have your own sunbeds and table. Pool and sundeck is available although instead we chose to go to Peters beach one day, Hotel is well priced against those in the same area. Parking is also available onsite but needs to be prebooked.Hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating and very helpful.I would definitely recommend this hotel

    We had 3 very relaxing days in The Miramare earlier this month . The room and beautiful Terraces had amazing views across the Bay to Vesuvius . The bus service to Sorrento Centre was very good ( care has to be taken on the Road outside but the same could be said of all hotels above the Town ! ) Would recommend the 15 minute walk down the hill , through the Camp Site down to the Old Port of Sorrento , very evocative , and historic .
