Location

This hotel is situated in the centre of Sorrento, only around 150 m from the Piazza Tasso square. The surrounding restaurants, shops, bars and nightclubs, as well as the tourist centre can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot. Circunvesuviana station, the bus station and the beach are all some 10 minutes’ walk away. Capodichino airport (Naples) is about 50 km from the hotel.

Facility

    We had a warm and home feel stay at Hotel Savoia this summer, which is run by the kind and caring Rosa, who took care of every single request and added the icing on the cake to our experience in Sorrento. I missed the start of our days with their home made pancakes and the aroma of authentic Italian coffee.. what sum it up for us is that the management even went the extra mile by returning one of our forgotten items by posting it over to London were we live few days after our leave! We recommend this family run hotel to everyone looking for a quiet yet a throw of stone place from the main city square. Thank you for the outstanding experience. Amar and family

    Just come back from here after a short holiday with my daughter. Lovely little hotel with old fashioned charm. We loved it. It was clean and only a short walk to the town, beach club and rail station. Air conditioning was amazing at night and not really being breakfast people there was a great selection of fruits as well as traditional breakfast items which for us was amazing. I don't like lifts so I was a little nervous about the stairs because I get sciatica on certain steep staircases but the wide staircase proved to be no problem at all for me. We were thrilled to have a lovely little balcony which was great for me as I smoke and smoking was allowed on the balcony. The lady in charge took to my daughter who had organised the trip straightaway and as well as giving us lots of useful advice also made my daughters day by telling me how beautiful she was. I would definitely stay here again if we come to sorrento next year. I don't understand the few bad reviews, the hotel is lovely, the owners are lovely and so is the food. We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay. Thank you for having us and making us welcome to Everyone at Hotel Savoia

    We had a very pleasant stay and experience at Hotel Savoia, Sorrento.This small, family-run hotel was quiet, but just a few steps from the tourist and historic center of Sorrento - perfect for exploring on foot. The staff - especially Rosamaria and her family - were warm, helpful and made us feel completely at home, offering local knowledge and even arranging parking and a late breakfast when needed. On our first night we also tried the ReFood restaurant, run by his son in the historic center of the city, which we 100% recommend, the BEST in Sorrento :)We were a large family of nine and our rooms were comfortable and clean, accessible by a lift and had air conditioning - just what we needed on this summer trip. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh fruit, homemade pancakes (which I understood were cooked by Rosamaria), local marmalades and delicious coffee.The location couldn't be better: just a few minutes from Piazza Tasso, restaurants, cafes, beaches, the train station and ferries to Capri. Despite being in the center, it was quiet and hidden from the main tourist noise.

    Travelling through Italy for 2 weeks now and this has been the best experience and stay we’ve had ! The refood restaurant was divine too, hotel is ran very clean, going above and beyond to make sure you’re happy ! This hotel deserves more than to only be a 3 star hotel. 🤍🤍🤍🤍

    What a delightful place! It's a charming smallish hotel. The staff are really great. The room was lovely and having a comfortable balcony to spend our evenings sipping wine was so nice. It's also centrally located without being in the middle of everything. The staff were all so lovely - very personable and attentive. We really enjoyed the room and vibe of the hotel. If I had one minor criticism, they could use better wi-fi, but it was also a reminder that I'm on vacation and maybe I could disconnect more. We're looking forward to our next visit.
