Location

The villa is situated among the hills a few miles from the centre of Sorrento. A short distance from the villa there are pathways and green areas. The villa is reached by crossing a major road (in terms of the local area), the small road can only be used by a very small car. Guests can use the bus to the villa from the Piazzetta. This service must be booked in advance by calling the villa. Sorrento city centre is around a 5-minute drive from the hotel, as is the nearest beach. Naples - Capodichino Airport is approximately 50 km from the hotel.

Facility

9 non-smoking rooms are available. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The rural hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities.     Breathtakingly beautiful! The whole experience was amazing . Anna Maria, Luigi and Giovani., made our stay feel like we were with family. Anna Maria runs a 5 star cooking class and also cooks the meals for her guests. The dinners are all farm to table, pastas, breads , and deserts all homemade. The villa is very peaceful and overlooks the bay of Naples a, Capri, and Vesuvius.The sunsets are spectacular. I highly recommend Villa pane!!!!!

    Cooking class was AMAZING!! Anna Maria was truly the best, she was so friendly. It felt like you were cooking in your mom’s kitchen. Everything we made was delicious. Perk for us was our ‘small group class’ ended up being private. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely brilliant stay — can’t recommend enoughAfter a busy fortnight visiting Switzerland, Milan and Rome, this place was just what we needed. Everyone was so welcoming & friendly from the second we arrived... The cutest welcome from Guido the dog 💛 Gianluigi is the coolest, nicest guy, extremely accommodating and made everything so easy. Nothing was too much trouble. The shuttle to and from town was so convenient and our laundry was done for us without issueA fabulous room, the bath was most welcomed, deep, hot, perfect after a day exploring. The bed was super comfy we slept like a baby every night... Breakfast was good - the homemade preserves are delicious 😋 As keen growers at home 🌱, we loved a wander around the fabulous garden. We ate garden-to-table fresh produce that couldn’t be fresher if you tried. I've never tasted rocket so good (arugula)From fat juicy langustines to lemon chicken, proper Sorrento flavours. You can taste the sunshine in every bite. If you get the chance to eat in, you must.We had an intimate cooking class with Annamaria the night before we left which was so good ! The local wine flowed as we prepared Beef braciole and Bream in crazy water ! Ravioli and tagliatelle and lava cake to finish ! I have a pasta machine on order ! Giovanni was a star ... a celebrity chef in the making ! Already planning to come back.     Hello and thank you for a lovely week at your wonderful resort. We felt really welcome and the service was the best. The room and the surroundings made our stay peaceful and pleasant. Going out on the balcony in the morning with the view and the sounds of the animals in the surroundings was always a perfect start to the day.     Villa Pane was the first stop of our Italian Tour and it started with a cancelled flight.Having diverted to Rome and arriving in Sorrento in the middle of the night…tired and hungry, we called the owners to let them know we were nearby but well and truly lost at the same time.Whereas we’d have expected a place of this size to be closed up for the night… instead the owner came to find us on the mountain side, convoyed us to the parking area and took us and our luggage on a trip up the hill to the Villa, which was an experience in itself.When we arrived, we were offered food, which was a surprise given it was about 11pm and where we would have been happy with some toast, we were sat down and given wine and probably the best homemade ravioli we had all trip. So much so, we ate there again the following night.We are forever grateful for the generosity the owners showed to us, which is why some of the negative reviews are such a surprise to us.This is run by a fantastic, friendly and welcoming family in a lovely authentic setting off the beaten track, which for us only added to the experience.If you want convenience or struggle with mobility, this isn’t the place for you.If you want an authentic Italian experience and prefer to be set away from the tourist trap (not far away at all by the way), we would highly recommend it.The villa was traditional and clean and has great views at sunset.We had a lovely time and the difficult and disappointing start to our trip was immediately forgotten when we arrived but also the memories that were created Thanks to you.
