Location

This spa hotel is located directly on the stunning Santa Margherita beach with spectacular views out over the sea. It is 4 km to Pula and 30 km to Cagliari International Airport.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 180 rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room, a playroom and a library. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe and a minibar are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available for daily use. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

There are indoor and outdoor pools and a children's swimming area. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Sun loungers and parasols on the terrace invite guests to relax and unwind. A variety of activities such as cycling/mountain biking, bocce, beach volleyball, volleyball and crazy golf or, for a fee, tennis, are offered at the hotel. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym, table tennis and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a hammam and massage treatments. Subject to charge: a steam bath. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and live music.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant (with high chairs), a café and a bar. Half board can be booked. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast. For lunch, guests can order à la carte. A set menu can be ordered at dinner. Special culinary options, such as diet meals, are also available. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    Perfectly placed resort for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Food was exceptional. Will definitely return.

    Another lovely seaside holiday at Hotel Flamingo

    My partner and I spent eight nights/nine days 11-19 Sep at Hotel Flamingo. It was a very nice holiday; it ticked all the boxes for me. I love the location, right next to a nice beach where it is easy and safe to sea-swim, which I did every day. I love the authentic Sardinian food and wines at dinner in the Wild Duck restaurant (we were half-board). All the hotel staff were helpful and friendly. It was nice after dinner to sit in the bar/pool area for a drink and to listen to the live music that was performed most evenings. We were lucky with the weather - warm, sunny, no rain and a bit breezy in the afternoons. The hotel is a convenient base for exploring other part of the coast, as we did, driving the rental car to Teulada to spend a day exploring the coastline in a rental dinghy. If you want a nice, quiet, pleasant, friendly hotel that's right next to the sea and sandy beach then I would say the Flamingo is definitely one to consider, which is why we keep going back, and will look forward to our next visit.

    Food choices at breakfast very poor and same every day, dinner more varied but can take up to an hour and a half to complete. Pool ok, ridiculous charges for sun-beds at beach, not being able to pay as you go for drinks just charge everything to the room.Prices quite high for bar drinks. Music way too loud in the morning, afternoon and evening, it kept going mercilessly till 11-11.30 pm. Gym was less than basic with virtually no weights and equipment. TV was on its was out with strange shapes. In essence room was very poor for deluxe room with sea view, half the view was back yard with some old broken and abandoned equipment. Some staff nice and some beyond rude. No effort in promoting any excursions. Lucky we had a hire car so went out exploring on our own. Didn’t have a feeling of 4 star hotel, more like 2.

    The bed breaks, everything is old and ugly. Dinner is very good, similar to a restaurant but breakfasts are plain and boring. Service is decent except nobody speaks english so its hard to communicate. The scenery is beautiful as well as the outdoor pools. Beaches are nice on the outside and the inside is decent at best. But the worst thing is that NOTHING is included within the price, you have to pay for sunbeds, games, drinks (5 euros for a glass of wine) and they dont even give you ice. Overall i would not recommend

    It was a very nice hotel with nice people always around. It is very close to a small city which has nice pizzerias and night life. It is also a 45 minute drive from the capital cagliari. It is a nice place to relax but it does have roman ruins 5km away to visit which is a nice day out but not much else nearby and the hotel itself only has a pool and gym to offer so it will be best to plan trips beforehand if you decide to.
