    Location, Food and Tranquility - a wonderful stop

    Why go to only brand name locations when you can experience the rural Italian lifestyle? We read reviews on this location as we were going to circle the whole island and thought this would be a great option for a little quiet. Close to the ruins in Nora and the beautiful beaches, this place worked for us. We were lucky they still had a room as we were winging our last couple of nights of our trip. Room was decent size, quiet and clean. Their restaurant further down on the property was amazing for evening meals with live music and good waitstaff. Parking was a breeze with the big lot. Breakfast was good and they gave us a "go breakfast bag" as we had to leave so early in the morning to catch a flight.

    Very charming hotel near Nora Archeological Site. This family owned hotel is a little gem hidden away in the countryside. Super room, very nice bathroom, your private terrace overlooking a vineyard. What else do you need. Oh, and there is a swimming pool, a fantastic restaurant on site (ristorante orti di nora), and personnel is super friendly. Excellent breakfast buffet with outside seating. To be recommended!

    Service in hotel poor. We were taken to our room by a women that did not smile or welcome us in anyway. We did not have any explanation about the place just a book to read. We tried to order a snack at lunch which we were not allowed to do as we were sat out side where you eat breakfast not inside at a table. This was not explained either. Happy to take 2 orders for drink while we waited for a non existent snack to arrive again no explanation until we asked. Gave up and came back to room for crisps and olives. Nice large room as paid for, had to switch off fridge each night as too noisy. Beware hotel bar closes early as shut when no one in. Not anything in room to make tea coffee in room, no glasses. Paper cups and fridge that’s it. We have run an hotel for 9 years so know what the basics are Direzione Orti di Nora, Direttore generale at Hotel Rurale e Spa Orti di Nora, responded to this review If you run an hotel as the way in which you have run the shower knob and the way you have answered to my reception this morning... I can understand why your hotel last just 9 years... Adios!

    Lovely spot for a family break

    We were very kindly upgraded to a junior suite to be nearer the rest of the family, so had plenty of room in the suite and a lovely patio and garden to ourselves. Breakfast was a varied buffet with a wide variety of tasty options. We never had lunch, and never worked out how to get dinner in the main restaurant, but had dinner 3 times in the large restaurant further down the site. The menu there was varied, food good and service very good and friendly. The exotic birds and animals were all looking healthy and well kept. Lovely pool and jacuzzi area.

    Great place for families to stay close to Cagliari, ancient archeology and beach at Nora

    Great place to stay , only about 30 rooms ( mixed ) Families with children are well catered for.Plenty of space to play, nice swimming pool, on site resteraunt, variety of traditional animals for chidren to see . We stayed for three nights.Staff are excellent and very friendly . some speaking good English .Breakfast buffet is varied and well stocked .We enjoyed our evening meals in the resteraunt.Our room ( twin) was fine . very comfortable and very clean .The bathroom with walk in shower was the best that we had seen during our three week tour of the island .Would highly recommend staying if you are planning on visiting the archeology and beach at Nora or heading off to explore the south west of the island
