  Great stay in la Villa del Mare

  Lovely small hotel on beach front with kind and helpful staff. We had a very nice room with sea view and a beautiful terrace. The only thing we didn't like was that the extra bed in the room was not comfortable.   Worst beach holiday ever had

  Our two bed rooms apartment is average. The entrance always had bad smell from the sewerage.The Ventilation in the bathroom is very laut and did not function as it should be. the whole apartment stinks very bad after having used the toilet and it takes quit long to get this out. The hotel is very close to the clear water beach just across the road. But hotel does not offer beach chair like I experienced other beach hotels. While booking the hotel informed that beach chairs and parasol are provided but it came out that a very small parasol and sitting chairs. Every time you go to the beach you have to dig into the sand to be able to make the parasol stand and once a bit strong wind blows you have to hold it so that this will not be blown away while happened many times. That’s why I say my worst beach holiday we ever had. The staffs are very friendly but requests are always misunderstood. My request for two twin beds was overseen and my request to book a transfer to the airport was not correctly done. Therefore please always double check with the reception.There are not much choices for breakfast and it does not go with the high room rate we paid. Therefore it was not funny at all eating the same breakfast for 8 days. Sardina does not offer varieties of foods every restaurant has the same foods on their menu. We also kept eating nearly the same foods in 6 restaurant in comparing to other parts of Italy this is real sad as Italian kitchen is very interesting. Generally hotels in Italy do not keep up with the international standard like in Spain or other European countries. Very sad as Italy has lots to offer. Regarding the beach, our hotel is located just across the road from the sea, and we provide complimentary umbrellas and chairs for use at the free beach area. These are designed to be light and practical to carry, and therefore not as robust as professional sunbeds and parasols. For guests who prefer a full beach service, there is a beach establishment just one minute away, and our team is always happy to recommend it. We always encourage guests to carefully select the hotel that best matches their needs and expectations, so that the holiday experience can be fully enjoyed. We are pleased to know that you appreciated the friendliness of our staff, even if some requests were not handled as smoothly as they should have been. We apologize again for the oversight with the twin bed request, which was corrected the following day, and we will continue to strengthen our communication to ensure guest needs are met promptly. As for breakfast, in addition to the daily buffet we also offer five hot dishes freshly prepared by our chef, along with a variety of Sardinian meats and cheeses that change throughout the week. We are sorry if this did not meet your expectations during your eight-day stay, and in the future we encourage guests to speak with our team, who are always glad to assist with recommendations and enhance both the dining and cultural experience. We do take your feedback seriously and will use it to improve both our services and the guest experience. Sardinia is indeed a beautiful island with much to offer, and we are sorry that this visit did not leave you with the impression we wish all our guests to have.   The absolute best hotel on our three week adventure

  After our first hotel was less than expected we looked for somewhere better as we didn’t want it last nights in Europe to be disappointing. We were lucky enough that this was not fully booked. Two nights in the ocean view veranda site and one in a regular suite were nothing short of amazing. Kind helpful staff, comfortable beds, air conditioning that worked and an amazing view. The daily breakfast was delicious and the server was so kind and attentive. Once they knew we were celebrating our 30th anniversary there had a card and small gift for us.   What can I say, a little gem, totally recommend, spotless, beautiful rooms, we had side balcony, not mush use for it as 30+ and aircon after beach out preference.Staff superb, thanks Viktoria, Neomi and anyone we encountered along the way, super friendly professionals.Brekkie spot on, not a big selection, but everything you need to kick start the day, the fruit smoothie stunning and best latte's I have had.Thanks to all will defo be back.Emerson beach club across the road great, no walking needed, and beds reasonably far apart!   Fabulous comfortable and friendly hotel in a great location

  This is a really lovely hotel in a wonderful location right on the sea front and just a few steps from beach clubs, restaurants and cafes. We had two rooms, both of which were a good size and very comfortable. The outside seating provides a great place to relax in the evening. The breakfast buffet (8-10am) had run out of some items like the fruit when we generally got there about 9am but that is the only fault I could find. You can also eat at the restaurant which we enjoyed. All the staff were friendly and helpful. This is a great choice to place to stay in a quiet resort.
