    Perfect little hotel

    rating21 Sept 2025

A little gem of a hotel hidden away in the small village of Tresnuraghes. As mentioned by others, the slightly austere outside view of the hotel does a good job of hiding what is actually a beautiful hotel where the owners (Claudia and Sofie) and their staff do a perfect job of delivering a high quality service, but also managing to maintain that personal touch in everything they do. Claudia recommended a cocktail on the roof terrace whilst watching the sunset - this was perfect as the terrace has a view down to the sea where you can see the sun disappearing in a glorious show of red and orange. Our room was in Il Cortiletto which is one of the remote houses, but the walk is only 2 minutes so shorter than you would find in many large hotels. The rooms are spacious and airy with mini-bar, large bathroom, good air-con and very clean. We ate dinner in the bistro and enjoyed the set menu, we were very glad that it was not pizza as Sardinia can be a bit monotonous with that! Also, the carafe of house white wine was great value and perfectly acceptable to go with the dinner. For breakfast, there were many homemade pastries, yoghurts and preserves which were very tasty and the coffee was great too.Our only regret is that we were only staying for one night!

    Prepare to be surprised!

    rating19 Sept 2025

This hotel is a real surprise. What you see on the outside does not prepare you for the stylish interior and garden . Our room was down a path from the garden with a most attractive private terrace shielded by tropical plants. It was truly delightful. When we ordered a drink, it was delivered to our terrace; just so perfect and relaxing. Breakfast was excellent too with plenty of choice for all. My only criticism is that the restaurant was closed on the night we arrived and there is only one other restaurant in the village, serving mainly pizza. However, the meal we had in the hotel on the second night was very good.

    A small paradise

    rating08 Aug 2020

"Sometime the unexpected things are the best". The rule worked for Maison Tresnurages whos name I picked out in the Web just the day before we left for the last minute holliday we had in Sardinia. It's an elegant, cosy 11 rooms residence in a small village 10 mins drive up on the hills facing the Sardinian blue waters sea. The rooms face a secluded green garden where breakfast is served and where you find Chaise loungues for when you feel lazy. Claudia and Sophie, who manage it smartly, are kind and very helpful. For sure, the next time I'll be here around I won't miss to stay here.

Great place, lovely and caring staff

    rating12 Aug 2019

We recently stayed at Hotel Maison as we had a problem with a booking in a hotel next door. The say “every cloud has a silver lining” could not be truer, in fact this hotel was such a beautiful surprise. We had a lovely, spacious and nicely furnished room, we enjoyed the beauty of the large garden, we experienced the kind of service we like the most, friendly, caring but always professional. It was all a bit unexpected...Claudia, Giovanni, Sophie made our brief stay absolutely lovely, we felt they genuinely cared about us, we felt like at home.We strongly recommend Hotel Maison and we actually look forward to going back soon.Thank you guys!

    World class Sardinian hospitality

    rating06 Jun 2019

We have stayed at Tres every year for 8 years and it gets better every year. The garden is heaven but the staff are outstanding; the best in the world. The restaurant has grown and serves wonderful Sardinian cuisine. The breakfast is a culinary feast! Take a bottle and two glasses onto the terrace and watch the sunset over Port Alabe - magical. Please please book a massage in the garden with Paola, a trained masseur and yogi, you’ll feel like you’re floating after! We hope it stays unspoilt for generations to come. All credit to Claudia and Sofie for looking after this gem so well and giving it such a special, personal experience. They bring so much laughter and light to brighten every day of your holiday!
