BYO toilet paper, body wash and Air con (amongst other things)

    rating17 Aug 2025

The hotel has a stylish design, and a decent location, but that is where the positives stop.Several service and comfort issues let it down substantially. Only one toilet roll was provided for the entire stay, for two people for two nights, the others we snuck into our room from the dining room bathroom cupboard. Body wash another BYO, two tiny pouches, hardly enough for even a wash. The Wi-Fi was so slow it was unusable, and when I asked for an extra pillow I was told none were available. Ignore the alleged parking options or vallet parking, they have neither, and when you call tell you to park in a parking station, no direction given. The hotel is charging €3 for an in-room coffee pod, and tea bag, which feels excessive, especially when even small B&Bs include this for free. More concerning, we were locked INSIDE our room due to the deadlock not having an interior release, which raises safety issues. The walls beside the bed had visible stains, detracting from the otherwise smart design, but tired look of the room. The air conditioning couldn’t be set below 20°C, even with staff assistance, which made the room uncomfortable in the middle of summer. There was no view (see pictures) and in bathroom both towel racks and shelves for soap were missing. The night receptionist was so lazy and slovenly it wasnt funny, and really could not give a stuff about anything other than his food delivery. Also you will need to walk up four floors to get a key to the elevator on check in, no assistance provided. The few upsides, breakfast was excellent, and the staff who manage breakfast equally so. The location was also very good and central.Pictures quite misleading however, see the ones I have included for the real experience.

Like staying in a crowded second-hand shop

    rating25 Oct 2023

This place is not definitely for everyone. It is totally full of old and new objects and the result is rather suffocating and, potentially, fire hazard. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. However, management is non-responsive and vague when it comes to the charges incurred. I was promised a statement for my 4 night stay, and requested it via email 3 times without response. I only want to know the breakdown of the expenses because the bill seems to be too high.

Quiet luxury and perfect home base for Cagliari touring

    rating15 Oct 2023

This was a wonderful place to stay as a solo traveler visiting Cagliari. Full service, always attended boutique hotel with a quiet and beautiful room. Breakfast was always fresh and lovely in a library with marina views. The location, for my needs, was perfect as a base to head out daily. My favorite shop for room wine and cheese (Sapori di Sardegna) was right around the corner but the hotel provided a nice snack assortment, wine and fridge of refreshments. I couldn’t be happier with the choice of this accommodation.

    READ THIS IMPORTANT INFORMATION

    rating13 Oct 2023

This is a unique boutique hotel experience. The concept is a great one for artist lovers and those who crave something distinctive while across from the Port in Cagliari. Our room was stunningly decorated and a treat to come to. HOWEVER, it was unbearably small. I would recommend that you consider the largest room available. We had little room for our luggage and had to climb over things to get to the other side of the room. We are small statured people and it was still a struggle. The hotel is green conscious. Had great food, and the best coffee on the island. If you require dependable WiFi and internet, DO NOT STAY HERE. The connection dropped throughout our 5 day stay and on our last evening, the power went out for the entire evening, over a 12 hour period. For about 5 hours, the power came on and off, but kept kicking off. We were never provided with an explanation for it, just that our side of the building was affected and that they were looking into the situation. At 12 midnight, I demanded an explanation, and the staff person basically said that they were told the matter would be fixed by the city centre by 9PM BUT by midnight there was nothing that could be done according to the staff. By 9PM there was NO POWER to us until approximately 7AM and nothing was offered to us to make up for the situation. I asked for a refund for the evening but the working staff refused to accommodate us, they had no authority to follow through with anything. We had prepaid through our travel agent, who now tells us that we needed to deal with the hotel directly. Our time on Sardinia was a lovely dream come true, HOWEVER, this last night has left a real sour experience to our holiday.

    Weird place

    rating27 Sept 2023

The location of this hotel is great, close to restaurants, buses and most key sights but it is unwelcoming and cluttered. Seems like a vanity project for an art collector rather than a hotel. Best room in the place is the breakfast room because of the harbour/sea view but bad food, uncomfortable tight space for more than 4 people at once. We reserved a harbour room 6 months in advance but were given a dark back room because of “computer error”. Really, how about some human accountability?! I cannot recommend this hotel except for location.
