    We expected better

    Having read the reviews of this place we expected better; especially for the price.We had a one bedroom apartament, located on the 1st floor. Traveling as a family of 3 with a 10 year old. The apartament itself looks tired; kitchen was lacking basic necessities like salt and pepper. The fridge had a huge buildup of ice on the walls (the actual fridge not the freezer). There is only one AC unit in the apartament. It is located above the couch in the living room- where our daughter slept. In order to cool the bedroom down you need to run the AC high in the living room, making the person sleeping in the living room uncomfortably cold. On our 4 night stay our towels were not refreshed once. The shower fixtures are old and rusted. Balcony was messy and crammed with stuff, not a lot of room to sit for 3 ppl. Overall we expected better based on the reviews (bookings) and the price we paid.The pool was a big bonus: it was clean and the area was very well maintained. We spend our down time at the pool.     High quality service and very helpful staff on all the dealings we had with them. The rooms were clean and spacious, and with all the amenities we needed for our stay.     Relaxing in October!

    Had a very pleasurable 4-day stay in Le Fontane. Perfect for a no-nensense holiday where we were just visiting another beach every day, while still having a swimming pool during certain hours open at the accomodation.On the contrary to some of the reviews I saw, we didn't encouter any unexpected cost. Only the elevator was not working, but if that's all it was ok for us...     Travel to Villasimius, Le Fontane

    I travelled to Villasimius, Italy in August 2023. When I checked in inside the Residence Le Fontane I asked to pay 315 euros, 115 euros cleaning and utility and 200 euros breakage deposit (that was not stated when I booked the hotel in Expedia). The room was clean, but no towels, no air con (temperature outside plus 29-30 degrees). When I refused to pay at the beginning and asked for explanation, the receptionist (the older one) told me if you don’t like it go away!!! Only one good attitude was younger receptionist who provided all information regarding the door lock and provided my the key upon my arrival as I arrived very late at 00.40 on the 16.08.23. He tried to be helpful and explain the additional cost. So 200 euros is the breakage deposit which suppose to be return to my account… The restaurant also not working inside the hotel as they not going to open the restaurant for 1 person (me), so you will need to find food by yourself the city. Luckily the Coop shop was close by. Despite all the negative things happened I still will go back to Italy, but to another hotel. I quite like this country. Furthermore, we think there has been a misunderstandig with the tour operator you reserved with, we always share with the tour operators all the conditions and the description of what is included and what is not, as you can see on our official websites everything is stated very clearly. Our company operates in the tourism sector from more than 30 years, which is why we always take care to work professionally and correctly.     As soon as we arrived they were taking 260 euros from us for electricity, gas and cleaning, we were not informed of this until after we booked!!Staff were very pleasant and helpful, common areas inc pool also very good, unfortunately that's where it ends The air conditioning is only in the front room so for any benifit you have to leave the bedroom door wide open. (not good when grown up daughter is staying too) The air condition extractor is located on the very small balcony pumping out very hot air making the area unusable unless you turn the air con off (too hot for that)No towels provided, not even a tea towel but they expect you to clean the kitchen (even though they take 80 eoros for final cleaning) so we had to buy them, just 1 toilet roll provided so we had to buy them too. Room was described a 1 bedroom with a sofa bed in the front room, there was no sofa bed, just a bed with a wooden shelf behind it leaving nowhere to sit and relaxThere are many many issues with this hotel and I would not reccomend anyone staying here without knowing all this info, we would certainly never stay here again SeaTravel SeaTravel, Vendite at Residence Le Fontane, responded to this review Dear guest,we are sorry to know that your stay has not been up to your expectations.
