  Comfortable Week at Lido La Perla Nera Hotel

  Really pleased with our choice here, its at the quieter end of Stresa yet just a pleasant stroll from the main shops and restaurants, etc.The location is convenient for boat trips from the nearby lido jetty, so no need to go to the other end of town.Staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast (mainly cold buffet type) was a good start to the day.Our room on the top floor (there's a lift) was spotless, quiet and comfortable - plenty of storage, always hot water when needed, and firm but comfortable beds.The included AC was a boon. but there was no safe in the room, which would have been good.Also, tea/coffee making facilities would have been handy.Would definitely recommend.

  Tired but friendly well situated modest hotel .

  The hotel is well situated close to the lakeside and ferry services.Whilst some of the rooms have been modernised I stayed in a quite tiny old style room with fading carpet,dysfunctional shower and very small single bed.Storage facilities in the room were very limited.The common areas of the hotel are average.The staff are very friendly and especially the breakfast staff who were always friendly,engaging and full of good advice for the traveller.

  Hotel Lido. Lake Maggiore

  Stayed at the Hotel Lido last week for 7 nights .What can I say, 3 star hotel with 5 star staff, from the cleaners to the guys that served us breakfast and the reception staff nothing was to much trouble. Brilliant location for catching the ferry boats to the islands and around the lake. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable. 👏👏 Andy &Janet.

  A quiet location Stresa Lido - Casiano

  A friendly hotel, very relaxed, short walk to pier for boats to Borromen Islands and other lake locations. Large rooms with ensuite bathrooms, great views & balconies. Indoor pool, lounge, bar and excellent breakfast room. The walk into Stresa is pleasant waterside paved path, 20-30 minutes duration. The majority of restaurants are in Stresa, but the Lidovolante Café does offer a day and evening menu. The Lido Café also does snacks & pizza. However, Daniels & Marconi waterside restaurants are only 10-15 minutes on the way to Stresa.

  Very dated and tired looking hotel. Good size bedroom and balcony but the bed was very firm and we only had one pillow each, we did get two more pillows when we asked. Very small TV with only a couple of English channels. Towels more like tablecloths but clean ones provided every day. We took our own kettle but there was no fridge for our milk. Breakfast plentiful and waiting staff attentive. It was a 20 minute walk to the restaurants in Stresa in order to eat dinner/lunch.Perfectly located by the port for the ferry trips
